Excellent skiing for all levels. Plenty of other winter activities including pictaresque faux French Alp village. Good restaurants and bars. Tons of lodging options. Reasonably prices if you book with discounts offered.

We decided to spend March Break in Mont Tremblant this year. What a great resort area, with tons of things to do. There are lots of great restaurants and shops for all tastes. This is a must for skiers and families that like to do winter activities. With lots of snow on the ground, this place will be a winterwonderland. The ski lifts are a great way to truely experience the vastness of this resort. Take the lift to the Casino and see a different part of the mountain. The lift from the parking lot is great as well. You get to see the whole resort from an open stand-up lift. We will be coming back this summer. A bit of Europe in Quebec.

Beautiful view on autumn n great during winter for ski. Quite expensive though but it's worth it. A must place to visit when you are nearby.

Mont Tremblant is reputed to be the best ski resort in the eastern half of North America, and my four-day ski trip January 27-30, 2013 proved that was not just hype. The village resembles a French alp resort community, and you hear as much French as English. The resort is a 90 minute drive from Montreal's Pierre Trudeau Int'l Airport, and I caught an easy flight from DC following a business meeting. The snow dump just a few days before my arrival could not have been timed better. Tremblant offers the amenities of a family ski resort as well as good challenging slopes for those who want to push the envelope. This all comes at a reasonable cost. I booked a full day private lesson for my first day on the slopes, and the instructor was excellent. By the second day, I was back in my old ski form from thirty years ago, and really felt comfortable scampering down some of the black and blue-black runs. Injuries come much easier as our bodies (and knees) age, and this mountain had just the right runs for an intermediate older skiier like me. Room prices were reduced about 15% at the Fairmont Hotel, with its beautiful overlook of the base and superb dining. Lift tickets purchased in advance were comparable to what I have seen out west over a decade ago (Whistler-Blackcomb, Mammoth, Wolf Creek, Alta, Winter Park) and the village had a very good selection of restaurants.

We stayed here recently and were so pleased with the village, and particularly with the ski runs available.

Will definitely return.
