I have returned to this Relais & Chateau. Food this time around was even better. Breakfast, eggs benedict to die for.

Pool and grounds perfect. Pool temperture was 85F.

Overlooking Lake Massawippi is outstanding.

Very pleasant and relaxing stay.

North Hatley village is a gem.

My husband and I have stayed here 7 times and we can't wait for our next trip. Relaxing is just the beginning. The scenery is spectacular. The food is amazing. We always get a room with a private balcony overlooking the lake. Our biggest decision of the moment is where to sit next to read. Should we sit by the pool, in the garden, on the veranda, on our balcony....so many wonderful choices. When we feel a little athletic we can try our hand at tennis or take a swim or take a kayak out on the lake.

The set up is beautiful, staff...so kind, dining room staff was very worm and contributed to our pleasant evenings (a special thank you to Chantal!). We were just my husband and I for 3 nights in a beautiful renovated room, loved it so much we went back the next day with the children in a vista suite which was even more beautiful ! We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. Natacha W.

The positives are the setting is gorgeous and the grounds lovely. The food is exquisite and staff very attentive and accommodating. The negatives are that both the rooms and common areas are quite run down. Rugs are in need of replacement or heavy duty cleaning. Our room, which was given as a generous upgrade had the appearance of being very cheaply and poorly furnished.
The screen door going outside to the gardens needed a new screen and paint. These might seem like small things but detracts from the overall beauty.

The setting is beautiful, but price quality, this hotel is completely overrated. The service was OK but not excellent. Many mistakes by the staff. Dinner was delicious but the wine is overpriced. And then they charged us extra to have an expression or cappuccino with our included breakfast ...... Not worth the money.
