Nice motel outside of St-Georges

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 27, 2015
Nice clean motel. Bed was comfortable. Had some problems with the WiFi. Kept disconnecting. Plus the room next door forgot to shut their alarm when they so the next morning it woke me up at 6:30 AM and kept beeping until I left around 8:15 AM. Other than that I would recommend the place.
Date of stay: May 2015
Room Tip: Get the rooms at the back. Less highway noise. Much quieter.

We stayed here January 9-11th,2015. We were in the area for a family funeral. I asked one of my Aunts that live in the area for an inexpensive, clean motel to stay at so that we weren't imposing on them. She suggested Motel Alexandrin. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the overall value off this motel. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We are so glad that we chose to stay here. The motel was lovely and it was so reasonably priced. We felt like no-one had ever stayed in the room before us it was that spotlessly clean. We chose a room at the back to keep out the noise from the highway.

Room tip: Chose a room at the back away from the highway.

The Alexandrin is an affordable clean, quiet, comfortable motel. Rooms are nicely furnished,
and have T.V., A.C., frig., microwave, wifi, etc. Nice gardens and seating areas outside,
and friendly, helpful owners, make this a perfect place for us. We stay here several times
a year. Tourist information and restaurants are nearby.

Room tip: Rooms in the rear section are quieter.

You will be very pleased with Alexandrin, a locally owned and family run business.
The hotel does the basics extremely well: simple, clean, quiet, comfortable, and a fair price. I was referred to this business by hospitality industry insiders.

The hotel doesn't have breakfast included - but that's OK with me. There's a very good local diner about a mile away called "Chez Gerard" and I recommend that highly - this place is something you'd expect to see on the food channel. There are other familiar chain restaurants around town but you'll never get that local flavor. There's also a gym about 1/4 mile away and they offer weekly rates for weights and cardio classes.

If you need to really zone out, there's a dam about a mile downhill. There's a park and a sitting area near the crashing waters.

Room tip: We rented the rooms in back, away from the main road. We didn't hear a thing even with the windows open.
