“Lovely Place”
Reviewed July 13, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We stayed here for three nights and were very happy with the experience overall.
There was a welcome pack which incorporated a delicious home made cake and some other essentials. The owners were friendly and helpful and the actual location of the property is great. The accommodation was clean and spacious and a really attractive environment to stay in.
Ideal for a large family group. And dog friendly!

“Spacious and Relaxing Location”
Reviewed July 13, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Our family of four, with two teenagers, stayed for three nights in June 2016. Everyone enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It had four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom were on the first floor, the other bedrooms and bathrooms were on the second floor.

The property was very spacious, newly remodeled and very attractively decorated. Everything was super clean. The owner paid great attention to detail with the furniture and finishes throughout the property - we were very impressed. The black-out blinds on the bedroom windows were an especially great addition. There was plenty of storage and a hairdryer in each bedroom. All of the plumbing worked properly and there was a washer/dryer in the kitchen. Free WiFi was included.

The owner greeted us upon arrival and there was even a homemade cake and a few groceries waiting for us. The views of the horses and vineyard behind the cottage were beautiful, especially from the second floor bedroom windows. The only suggestion I would make for this property is upgrading the beds. Their comfort level was decent, but could be improved.

This was a great location to use as a base for three days exploring south-east England. From here, we visited nearby Bodiam Castle (not to be missed!), Battle Abbey, and Rye, as well as day trips to Dover and Brighton.

Thank you for your kind comments. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and sorry that you did not find the bed to your taste. We do have to go for a medium mattress to try to suit most people. All our beds are new and mattresses also.
Glad you found the history of the area not to be missed.
Many Thanks

“Wonderful relaxing break”
Reviewed June 27, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had a lovely 2 nights stay at this cottage. It has lots of lovely personal touches, including homemade cake, bread, milk, butter, hand soap, cleaning products etc.
Decor and cleanliness are both excellent. The people who ran it were lovely. Couldn't do enough for us. My sons loved the new swing ball and country walk to Bodiam. They named the horses Thunder and Lightening. We are thinking of going back at some point either next year or the year after.

“Lovely cottage with everything you could need”
Reviewed June 12, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I stayed with some friends at the cottage for a quiet hen do. It's a lovely cottage, well furnished with lots of lovely touches such as shampoo and conditioner in all the bathrooms, a cake on arrival and tea and coffee etc provided.

The cottage felt roomy even with 7 of us and the table and sofas sat us all comfortably. The kitchen had anything we could need. It's also an easy walk to bodiam castle and the pub and we did the onsite clay pigeon shooting which was great fun.

The owners were really friendly and helpful too which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice weekend away

“A perfect haven”
Reviewed May 25, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

A lovely relaxing break in a gorgeous setting with plenty of good pubs, restaurants and charming villages nearby. Accommodation is light and spacious and has all the home comforts you could wish for and all enhanced by the warm welcome as always from Teri, Sharon and Mike. We always enjoy our breaks here and are sad to be leaving, but come away feeling relaxed and already looking forward to our next visit. Brilliant.

“Always our first choice for a relaxing break”
Reviewed May 14, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This was our second time at 2 Coopers Cottages as a group of 6 ladies having a relaxing weekend break. The accommodation is always clean and very well equipped and the home-made cake that greets you on arrival is a really lovely touch. The views are beautiful and there's lots of scope for long walks in the surrounding area. The area is full of things to do if you wanted to get out and about but the cottage is also peaceful and comfortable to just chill in as well. We've already booked again for next year.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed December 11, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We have stayed in one of Terrie's other properties in the past ( The Old Cricket Pavilion) so we new the standard to expect and were not disappointed.
This is a beautiful property in a wonderful setting. It was spotless clean and as previously a gorgeous homemade cake awaited our arrival.
We found everything we needed in the kitchen to self cater easily. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, towels were fluffy and as an added bonus the bathrooms were stocked with lovely toiletries.
It provided us with a warm cosy haven to recharge our batteries,so much so that we only walked to the nearby Bodium castle tea rooms on both days and then went back to the cottage.
Had we not felt like a lazy couple of days there is loads to do in the area and we will be back.
