Owner description: During a trip to Quebec City, an amazing day out at the Canyon Sainte-Anne's gorge with its imposing waterfall and 3 suspension bridges is a must-do family attraction. Get into a spectacular and vertiginous canyon. Listen to the roaring of the majestic Sainte-Anne falls (74m high) between its narrow 1.2-Billion-year-old rocky cliffs. Vibrate while walking across our 3 suspension bridge. One is 60m (243') high over the gorge!Discover Giant potholes and cascades in the Mini-Canyon, along with the challenging Stone Stories Treasure Hunt with all family members. Be thrilled by our 3 vias ferratas and our 2 giant zip lines.Canyon Ste-Anne is well located, only 30 minutes from Quebec City, towards the Montmorency falls, and only 5 minutes from the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine and the Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort. The entrance is situated directly on Route 138 East, towards Charlevoix, the Le Massif ski resort, and the whale watching cruise area.

Just a 15-minute drive from Old Quebec on the north bank of the Saint Lawrence River lies the village of Saint-Anne. Well-known by locals for its skiing, it's also a religious destination with a huge "basilique" across a parking from an en equally enormous Cyclorama of Jerusalem. Saint-Anne also has a very nice hiking trail located within the Canyon of Saint-Anne complex, with three suspension bridges across one serious gorge. Go on a sunny day and take plenty of water.

If you're skittish about suspension bridges you might think twice; but the views are very nice. Also you'll be walking downhill from Bridge 1 to Bridge 3 so that means walking uphill to get back to the car.

This is a must see and do. If you have time and are an adventure seeker, you really must do the canyoning that is available. It is so beautiful to see even if you don't do the climbing part!

Go there, about 1 hour from Quebec city, a fabulous site for walking, taking picture, some of most beautiful falls in the region, not very far from chute Montmorency.

All the excellent reviews are true so there is no need to repeat; convenient, beautiful, nice stroll, great ++ views, powerful water, etc. Be sure and look/read the pictures in the snack bar/bathroom entry area to learn some history and see the pictures of "huge spring water".
The route is an easy walk for most and within the ability of most others. I have COPD ( a lung breathing problem) and my spouse hates heights but I was able to handle the stairs and inclines ( with stops for breathing ) and the spouse walked the bridges without too much fear.
The entry fee is well deserved.

This was such a beautiful walk around the canyon. It is very well maintained and you can get excellent views of all the different parts of the waterfall. Some of the bridges and heights may not be for those who have a fear of heights, but they are all quite stable.

I definitely will visit again when we are in the area - if there was just one thing I could do in the Beaupre area, this would be it.
