Four of us stayed here in two rooms the last week of January and while it was bitterly cold outside the hotel was warm and inviting. Skiing was OK but the wind and almost constant snow made grooming a challenge. The rooms were well decorated, comfortable and the kitchenettes had all the necessary amenities. Le Massif (1/2 hour north) had better skiing. For some reason one room was considerably larger than the one beside it but the smaller room was comfortable and we could just eat and visit in the larger one. Desk staff was helpful and pleasant. The hotel restaurant was pricey so we ate lunch and dinner in places in the surrounding area. The double outdoor hot tubs were lovely after a day of skiing and the indoor pool was available for more stretching. There is a work out room and a kids play room and a game room all of which look to be fun for families (but there was a charge for some of the games). Overall a nice place for ski in ski out.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a newly renovated room.

We stayed at the hotel Jan 23-26th 2014. We had a mezzanine suite which was great, The room was a good size with 2 queen beds and a small kitchenette and table. You can see the ski hills from the balcony, I really enjoyed the fireplace in the room as well. The ski hill is really great, especially having a gondola. My biggest pet peeve is that there is no shuttle to the airport from the hotel. So we had to spend $120 on a taxi there and back. Seems unreasonable because they are a ski resort.

Bonjour Melissa P
Thank you for your comments. We took note concerning the airport shuttle. For now, we do not have because most of our guests arrive by car. In the future, if the demand is there, we can look at the possibility to have a shuttle.

We stayed at the hotel over Christmas holiday break and for New Years Eve. The ski hill is really great, especially having a gondola. The room was a good size with 2 queen beds and a small kitchenette and table. We did some meal prep in the room and found the kitchen supplies a bit sparse. For example, there were very few large bowls, no scissors, no grater- small things that would have been useful. Also dish towels seemed to be limited in supply. There was an odor in the room that never went away. We thought generally air circulation was poor. The outdoor hot tub was really great, indoor pool was small but good for kids. There was also a games room for kids which our daughter enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and with a few minor adjustments as indicated it could be really outstanding. In all, there were no major concerns that would have prevented us for going back.

We had a nice time during our stay at the Chateau Mont-Sainte-Anne. The condo was very nice and clean. It easily fit 4! We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool was clean. The playroom was just ok and I still don't understand why we people have to pay to use the equipment in that room. Considering how expensive a stay at this hotel can be....

The Bistro Nordik is good and the service was excellent. The other restaurant was close. Considering that the temperature was so bad, it was almost impossible to leave the hotel. We would have liked to have another option for dinner. We already had dinner and lunch at the Bistro.....

The spa was super and the staff is amazing!

Stayed 5 nights over New Year's 2013/14. Room was clean - one adult and two teenagers on the trip - asked for extra towels for third person and they were delivered the day we arrived. After that the room was never kept up for three guests. Having a shower was scary - water would turn boiling hot or freezing cold in the middle of your shower! Beds were ok but bottom sheet did not wrap properly around the oversize mattress and would come apart when sleeping. Coffee for the room was provided only 2 of 5 nights and the sugar and creamer only once of 5 nights Slope side access was great but the ski and snowboard storage room smelled worse than my teenage son's hockey change room (his words), and we could not figure why it would smell so bad either? Lastly, the night we arrived after a long drive, we selected to dine at the hotel buffet and it was horrible! It included a lousy salad bar, french fries, chicken fingers, penne with butter, lasagna and cannelloni. The lasagna was good but the cannelloni was so dried out the pasta crunched in your mouth! Dessert selection was just ok....(definitely not 4 stars). We never ate at the resort again so even though the accommodation was slope side we used the car to eat elsewhere.

We loved our 2nd stay at Chateau Mont-Sainte-Anne in Beaupré Quebec, Canada. And Cesar the Manager was brilliant at resolving our small problem. The ski slopes were amazing - the best around and so beautiful. The restaurant has a gourmet selection of food which was a real treat - so great to have an interesting food selection with new things to treat the pallet, and all artistically presented.

When we discovered that the 3rd floor rooms were all "dog friendly" (and we have dog allergies), even though reception said we would have to rent a more expensive room, Cesar the manager took the situation in hand. He listened with great understanding and quickly moved us to an allergy free room at no extra cost, despite the inconvenience to the hotel as it was quite full.

We hope to go back with friends. The ski-in, ski-out is fantastic. And the music and hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby after skiing is wonderful. And Thanks Cesar for all your help.

Room Tip: The older 3rd floor rooms are often used for people with dogs. The new renovated rooms do not accept...

They really do their best to achieve perfection! We had a 2 room Penthouse Nordik condo for 6 nights. Access to the ski mountain is SO EASY with the lockers and the 2nd floor exit to the mountain. Access to the hot tubs is SO EASY. Room service was impeccable, even on December 31st when the hotel is just loaded. The bistro was quite quaint and the service was appreciated! My boys loved the game room in the basement. The convenience store is well equipped and EASY to shop. We spent a nice, EASY week. This was the third year in a row that we spent New Year's at the Chateau. We wiil be back!

Room Tip: 2 room Nordik Penthouse is the way to go!
