I want to say how impressed I was to walk in my room and have it already heated. This is a first. Usually I spend the first half hour trying to get my room to 'room' temperature. I guess it's cheaper and greener not to have the heat on in a room not yet rented, but I have to say I REALLY appreciated walking into my room with it already heated, on this cold winter night. It made me feel LOOKED AFTER. It was THOUGHTFUL. Also, friendly front desk staff and reasonable rates. Very comfortable. Best Comfort Inn experience to date.

fairly new, friendly staff
stayed here after very long drive. rooms are fairly new, good desk. good lights, good electrical outlets on top of desks for computers, microwave and fridge in room.

fairly quiet as the motel is up on a hill away a bit from the freeway.

very good internet connection.

Room Tip: rm 219 has a city view but does face the highway, fairly quiet considering.

Nothing exceptional, but then again its pretty much standard Comfort Inn. Conveniently right off the highway for an overnight rest, continental breakfast included (toast, muffins, cereals, coffee...). Rooms are clean, no frills, and a little dated. There is a Best Western Plus just across the street which is newer, but pricier. Close by on the other side of the highway there's a plaza with some late evening food options (Boston Pizza, Macdonald's, etc.).

I would like to congratulate the Comfort Inn in Edmundston, N.B. for a very joyous night stay, the evening of the 8th Sept 2012, My wife and I were traveling from Ontario for a 14 hour drive and needed a immediate lodging for the evening. We saw a billboard advertisement on the highway and made it our goal to reach the Comfort Inn. Without having a reservation, our receptionist "Dawn" was able to provide us with a room with a discount, because I am a Military member. The room that was assigned to us was adjacent to the parking, with very easy access. This helped not dragging luggage all over the place. Our room was very clean and tidy with amenities, such as Coffee / TV / Internet. Our bed was very comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful Continental Breakfast the morning of our departure. Check out time was very easy as there was a new receptionist there to greet us. I will definitely recommend or use Comfort Inn in future traveling.
Please provide locations of Comfort Inns in PEI (Charlottetown or Summerside).
Thank You for making our stay an enjoyable one.

We stayed upstairs in a non smoking room. Well it was non smoking until you turned the airconditioning off and then the cigarette smoke from the room below (?) infiltrated our room. It was revolting to the point that I felt ill. Hubby then turned the air con back on and thankfully, to a large degree, the problem was solved . However we prefer to sleep with out air conditioning on but had no choice in this hotel. So if you too hate the smell of cigarette smoke you maybe advised to look eslewhere. Also if you are a non-smoker you will be upstairs and you will need to haul your laggage up these stairs (very difficult for the elderly). If you are a smoker you will be downstairs. On the positve side the staff were friendly and the bed comfortable enough .The room was your typical stero-type beige room....not "flash" a bit tired but adequate for a stopover, Coffee machine and fridge are in the room but no Microwave. If you are a tea drinker like me you will have to wait until breakfast. Speaking of which the breakfast offered is not a health food selection but it's free(?) and enough to start the day. The breakfast room like the entrance foyer/reception is charmless. Would we stay again? No largely due to the cigerette smell and for this hotel we felt $150 +tax's was far too expensive compared to others we had stayed in.

Room Tip: If you are a smoker dont turn off the air conditioning!! Some rooms have nice views over the town...
