We waited over 1/2 hr after being seated before the waitress even came to our table to take our orders. We ordered our appetizers & main courses. Waited almost an hour before appetizers were served. She never bothered to check on us while we were waiting to see if we wanted more drinks. We only got 1 out of the 3 satay orders (for 6 people). And they were cold! Our waitress was very put out when we asked about the wait; how-dare-you-complain-I'm-too-busy-to-be-bothered-attitude. She got visibly annoyed, and left angrily, saying she would get the owner. We waited almost another hour for our main courses - and watched others who were seated 1/2 hour after us get their appetizers and main courses (different waitress). Finally the owner? Richard served us our main courses. Although 3/6 curries were good, half the food was cold, the ginger in our 10 year old's order was raw, (she cried when she bit into it), my mother-in-law's beef dish was tough (and cold). We tried to tell him about the appetizers, the over 2 hour wait for our main courses, and the waitress' rude attitude, but before we could get to the main courses, he interrupted us with this response: "I hope the food was worth the wait." !! We were seated at 6:30. We left at 9:30. At the very least, it would have been nice to see the appetizer comped. At the end of the day, we were treated as if WE were the problem. Not a pleasant experience. Too bad, because the setting is beautiful from the balcony.
