When you look for a dining experience in small, albeit quaint resort towns, you don't often find the kind of experience you get in larger centres. This makes the dining experience at the Livery all the more impressive given its location. While on a ski trip to Fernie Alpine Resort we needed to eat dinner. We stopped in at the Livery and were thoroughly impressed. The service was friendly and engage, joking with us, challenging our son in terms of iPhone use at the table. The menu was intriguing and refined. We hit "mussel Monday" and ordered their feature mussels (Thai inspired) they were flavourful and fresh. Afterwards we enjoyed to superbly prepared entrés. The wine menu was small but decent (weakest part of the menu). All in all we were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our visit. I will definitely be back. Note: they do not offer a children's menu, but mine was happy to participate in the mussels and nibble off of our dishes.

Stopped in late one evening for a drink and some munchies. Ordered the frites which were drizzled in truffle oil and topped with shaved Parmesan. Would be better with an aoili instead of the home-made ketchup, but the fries were sooo very good.
This would be a great place to go on a date, the atmosphere was cozy and dimly lit, perfect for a romantic evening out. I would love to try dinner the next time I am in Fernie.

5 of us ate here twice during our holiday in Fernie. Absolutely fantastic, the food and staff were great which was why we went back for a second time, just as good as the first. Can't recommend any particular meal as they were all so good. Make sure you book as is busy. Only complaints we would have liked a little more light and on our second visit we were in the back room and it was freezing with terrible draughts so eventually we moved, but I would still go back.

Three of us had dinner at the Livery, and we all had great food. Excellent mussels as an appetizer, and pasta with braised beef for the main course.
