Sterling Steak & Seafood, across the river from us provided to be an excellent choice for dinner this evening, to help celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary.
Similar to the Salt Rock Grill in Indian Shores, Florida, The Sterling displays various beef cuts and samples of seafood behind glass, open bbq grill (so you can watch) and an intensive wine list.
you'll have to bring a few extra pennies to cover the evening cost.
Our party of three had chosen two choices.
Our beverage in take was limited to one beer, soda, white wine.
The men each had a 12oz. new york sirloin beef steak, bbq to perfection with baked potato and lightly steamed assorted veggies cut julienne style.
The braised giant sea scallops cooked Sicilian style, sitting on a bed of parsnip purée,
I ordered, was SO delicious that I was sorry that my entree had already been ordered,OR I would have eaten a second dish of scallops. My entree was a 16 oz. Quebec rack of lamb (6 bones) cooked "a la provencale style, with baked potato and the daily featured vegetable, lightly steamed assorted, cut julienne style.
The potato choices were baked, fries and mashed with garlic OR rice.
Dessert was shared by the three of us, excellent dish of "Chocolate Marquise", beautifully displayed. no coffee wanted.
The service was excellent; gave us time to examine the wine list and menu chart; all the dishes arrived on warmed plate; and spaced apart with enough time to have a conversation or a small eating rest. The servers didn't hoover but were close by incase you needed them. Asking at each delivery of food "if everything is satisfactory'. And what I personally liked best, That all the Dirty Dishes disappeared like magic.
The upstair woman's washroom was very clean and spacious.
The only thing: if there is any difficulty with ascending stairs, please ask for a table ground level..
We would definitely go back.
