Stayed at this hotel for a week in April whilst attending meetings in Ottawa.

Hotel : Nice, Basic but Clean. Good location with easy access to bridge crossing to Ottawa.
Staff : Friendly and very eager to help (whether you speak French or not. No language barrier if you don't speak French)
Room: Clean, large in size, and well appointed. Good view of the canal / Parliament building.
Bathroom : Clean and well maintained.
Facilities : Nice pool. Scant in fitness equipment.
Restaurant : Didn't have the opportunity to try. Heard positive comments from others who patronized.
Parking : Outdoor - Easy access and no problem. $10/day.
Underground - AVOID.....Dusty, and not well lit. Driving lane is narrow and you pray that no vehicle is coming from opposite direction when you turn corners since you'll have no way to avoid a head-on collision. Parking spots are small. $10/day.

Overall, nice stay. Would come back.

I showed up early and staff were able to accommodate me. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and my room was nice, clean and spacious. The gym is fair, but the pool is quite nice. Very handy location for getting into downtown Ottawa. Internet worked well, and the food in the restaurant was actually decent! All in all, a good stay.

My wife and I stayed two nights from Sept. 11,2006. We liked the Hotel: the room was large and very clean; we were at the 8th floor which is considered a VIP floor (daily newspaper and bathrobe was a plus). The price we paid for the room was very convenient and certainly lower than comparable hotels in Ottawa.

The only thing missing was a frigo bar in the room. Breakfast was extra and the food was OK. The best thing of the Hotel is the location expecially if you are planning to visit the Museum of Civilisation. The Hotel is practically in front of the Musuem and we think the visit to it is a must. Nweraby there are a couple of good restaurant, we went to Le Tartuffe and the food was excellent although a little bit pricey.

Downtown Ottawa is just accross the river and it can be reached by car in five minutes (outside rush hours).

Definetively we were happy of our choice of hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Four Points Hotel & Conference Centre Gatineau just this past weekend for the festival of lights for one night. The rate was great, the room was huge, the pool was great and the view of the Ottawa river was great. We loved the late check out time. The only thing that was dissappointing was the room service when we ordered breakfast, which was cold and half our order was forgotten (basic things like cream for my coffee.). I'd find a Cora's next time. Otherwise the hotel was clean and inviting.

Decidely a utilitarian property, this hotel is in need of a good refresh. While the room quality was adequate, the rest of the hotel definitely needs some work . The bar had worn and dirty carpeting. A door to the kitchen was directly visible, and when opened it let in tons of bright light, much brighter than the bar lighting. It really had a Denny's feel to it. The food was fine. Service was OK at the bar/restaurant. Service was much better at the check-in desk, where the clerk took extra time to help me find my meeting location for the next day, rather than passing my request off to someone else. Overall, I'd likely not stay here again. It just wasn't up to the Sheraton standard I've been used to.
