“Zoo of a water park”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

The zoo was great. Beautiful. My mother was able to rent a scooter in the park, which made it much easier for her to navigate. There is a carnival ride section where most of the rides are included with your entry fee. The water park, Amazoo, is also included, but that's where the real zoo began! There are several pools, but it was body to body. We did go on a hot, sunny day, but there has to be a limit on the number of people allowed in that part of the park. The lazy river, which looked extensive, had a huge line. We only went in one of the wave pools (there are 2) because it was just too crowded to bother doing anything else. I would have preferred the water park to be a separate paid attraction so that the cost would have been reduced for the zoo portion and so you didn't feel any obligation to spend time in the water park section.

“Great family zoo”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

Granby zoo is a fun place for kids and not only.
The place is huge and has zoo, water park and rides.
One day is not enough to see and to play.
The zoo is very nice, well organized, and lots of animals to see.
Water park has lots of fun too.
Parking is free, but it is getting full fast and early in the morning(week-end).
What could be done better: the pools could be cleaner and also the eating areas needs a lit of work. Bring your own food, will be better and for sure cheaper.
The fee is a lit bit pricy which I understand, but why you still have to pay for other things like Express train for example.(3.5$/person).

“Family visit to Zoo de Granby”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

Granby Zoo located in Granby Canada was everything we expected. It was very clean, the employees were very friendly and the containments for the animals were very clean. We didn't speak french but were able to find some of the employees who were able to communicate with us.They had strollers and wheel chairs for rent.

The large animals were in natural outside areas. With some of the animals they only had one of them which proved to be disappointing to me. I love to see the interaction between animals and with the large animals like the Red Panda, Jaguar and the elephant that was not available. They have 1000 species of animals and that I really enjoyed the different species..

We drove up from northern Vermont and it was an easy drive. I would recommend this zoo to anyone.

“Fun place for a mini family vacation!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

We visited to Zoo on July 4th, 2013. Despite the hot humid weather we had a great day! Amazoo is a must and locker rental was $5.75 + $10 deposit and was super handy for leaving our wet suits and towels behind to finish the rest of our day at the Zoo. We started out in Africa and then moved on to South America, Amazoo, then the train that goes around Asia. We finished off our day at the carnival rides (most kids rides are free!) We will definitely plan another trip back next year and hopefully get a little cooler weather! PS parking is free!!
