We found this little place completely by accident and found it to be superb. One of those little surprises in a trip that reminds you to get off the beaten track, take your time and enjoy a terrific meal.
This place is French, so if you are not French, a little knowledge of French would be helpful, but not necessary. Food is in itself a universal language, so you'll do fine.
We were there for a lunch on a Wednesday. We both got the table d'hote. Good salad, my husband's Osso buco was spectacular, my pasta was very good and the dessert a delight. Service was friendly, and the price was very reasonable.
This is a small, intimate restaurant tucked away in St-Romuald. It is very worth searching out.
We are not from Quebec, unfortunately. Why oh why can't we get meals this good everywhere? This chef is really special.
