Owner description: Radium Hot Springs pool, located in British Columbia’s Kootenay National Park, features Canada’s biggest hot springs pool and offers something for all the family to enjoy, including a cooler swimming pool (27°C, 84°F). Whether you are visiting the local Radium golf courses, skiing or snowboarding at Panorama Ski Resort, or just passing through Kootenay National Park, the Radium Hot Springs are a unique thing to do and not to be missed! The mineral water of Radium Hot Springs is uniquely odourless and clear, making this hot springs perfect for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs of Sinclair Canyon from the spacious mineral hot pool and see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29ºC). Plan to visit often— there is so much to enjoy, year-round including: Eastern B.C.’s largest day spa, the annual stained glass art show and sale from May 16- October 12 , heated winter pool entrances, nature trails and picnic areas and space to lounge. Radium Hot Springs Poolside Cafe and Gift Shop snacks and souvenirs coming right up! Indoor and outdoor seating.

“Nice little Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

We was planing to take a trip to Fair mount hot spring but when we got there it was packed of tourists. So we drove back to Radium hot spring and found a small cozy motel called the Gables which is nice and clean, they also offer the pool pass to the hot spring that we really enjoyed.
In the Evening we found a nice restaurant called Back country's Jack that had a really nice atmosphere and good food.
I would rather choose Radium hot spring to Fairmount at the first place and we were glad that we did at the end .
Cheers
Nhung

“Nice to relax in pool in morning, but not a natural HS since they add a ton of chlorine.”

Well planned commercial hot springs. Perfect early morning temp. Nearby highway and chlorine a decided disadvantage.

“Relaxing Soak”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Nice large hot pool, not very crowded. Beautiful scenery. Also a regular family pool with diving board. Bring flip flops, change for lockers, towels. A little put off by all the signage warning about car break-ins and thefts from lockers. Perhaps Parks Canada should raise price and hire security. Would advise to not spend a lot of time in parking lot re-arranging gear in car. Parking is removed from hot pool area - so maybe there are opportunist thieves? We had no problems while there - but, we were careful with our belongings. Other than worrying about our car getting broken into while we soaked, it was very relaxing.

“Nice mountain town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

We visited Redstreak camp ground, saw a couple mountain sheep, deer. Tourism office did not provide a lot of information about their town. All the stores are at the 93/95 highway.
