Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbia’s Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Whether you are visiting the local Radium golf courses, skiing or snowboarding at Panorama Resort, or just passing through Kootenay National Park, the Radium Hot Springs are not to be missed! Radium Hot Springs' mineral water is uniquely odourless and clear, making this the perfect place for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29ºC). Plan to visit often? There is so much to enjoy year-round, including: the annual stained glass art show and sale, near-by hiking and walking trails, picnic areas and space to lounge.

For family and friends whose long winters in Calgary, Alberta, summer is always a much awaited time to go out enjoy the sun, the scenry and travel. Radium Hot Springs is one place sought by people living here in Canada as it is something one longs to revive the body after a long spell of winter. Our family travel to Canmore, then to Radium British Columbia was worth the long trip. Radium hot springs is just right for reviving your tired muscles. The view going there was real magnifecent. The amenities in the hot spring were very good with complete clean shower room, personal lockers and the entrance fee was real affordable. We were three families and it was fun to travel in a group.

Baths are my things so we had to hit the hot springs. Take your sunglasses, sunscreen and flip flops. Buy two towels as the dressing rooms were COLD! Open 365 days a year! And the lifeguards sit in a plexiglass hut in winter. Middle of the high season but crowd was not too big. Kinda weird but I liked it. Bring food as the selection is limited. Not a long walk.

As far as hot springs go, this one is on the weaker side. There are two side by side pools, one hot and one normal temperature. There isn't alot of charm about either one and little to convince the visitor that the springs occur naturally.

Went first thing in the morning, very few people, wonderfully quiet and relaxed! Staff were very pleasant and even helped suggest places for breakfast!
