“Relaxing Family Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

The price was affordable and the layout of the pools accommodated young children. The shallow entry provided an area where my 3 and 5 year olds could walk freely. The island in the middle of the pool and as well as the area that allowed you to lay in the water was great. The slide in the cold pool also provided additional enjoyment for the kids and we saw a Mountain Goat as well.

Overall, was enjoyed by all.

“A Retreat in the Mountains”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

The natural hot water pools are without any sulpher smell, that is so obvious at the Banff Hot Springs. It is a quiet atmosphere, the pools are nestled in the rocks. There are 2 pools, one is 34C (103F) and the cooler pool is 29C (approx.90F). Although the pool complex was built in 1951, it has been updated and it is very well maintained. The showers and lockers and change rooms are clean and modern. We purchased a day pass, that allows for unlimited returns to the pools in one day. The pools are only 3 kilometers to the town of Radium. We visited the pools in the morning and went for lunch, returned to the pools later in the afternoon and again in the evening as they are open until 11:00PM.
This is a very good place for families with young children, the pools have a shallow part and they is lifeguards on duty at all times.

“Clean, relaxing for a great price!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2012 via mobile

The title says it all. Very clean, locker rooms, bathrooms and especially the water. The pool is nice and warm. 39'C. And quite big, it slowly slopes down so there is place for children.
When you bought a day pass for the National Park ( Kootenays NP) then the entrance is only 6$. That is quite a deal.

“A Great Place to Relax”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2012

We drove from Banff to Radium Hot Springs, through the Kooyenay National Park. Beautiful views of the mountains all along the way. The soothing water of the Radium Hot Springs were peaceful and relaxing. Clean changing rooms and lockers are available. The pools are quite large and were not crowded when we were there in June. There is a hot pool and a cool pool, so take your choice. As we left to go back to Banff, it must have been the right time of the evening, because we saw lots of wildlife, including moose, bears, and big horn sheep. Stop for a picture on the Continental Divide, where the water changes direction and flows to the west.

“Amazing Hot Springs”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

For some reason, this place seems to be less busy than usual. We went for 3 hours today (Sunday), and there was lots of room in the pool. Don't miss this place if you're in the area - it's way better than Fairmont Hot Springs.
