This small, family run property offers great value and a clean quiet room. Our room was quiet and cool with a comfortable bed. Only 5 minutes away from Radium Hot Springs pool, and 30 minutes from Fairmont Hot Springs.

This is the 2nd time staying at this motel on our motorcycle trips. Ground floor rooms are great, we can park bikes right in front of our room. The owners Ed and Astrid are always a pleasure to visit with upon checking into the motel. The rooms are clean and have very nice laminate flooring making the room feel very cozy. Coffee maker and fridge in room were great. Very good price for a great comfortable sleep in a well maintained motel.

We needed to change our travel plans due to the flooding in southern Alberta this week. We had booked with the Cedar Motel through an online reservation service. The motel owners waived the cancellation fee for us. Very kind of them, especially considering that the flooding was no doubt playing havoc with their normal traffic and revenues. Will definitely stay there on our next trip to the area!

We had such a wonderful time here! The owners Ed and Astrid were pleasant and helpful. Their place is clean and we had a good nights rest. There was a guest who happened to be there that night who brought his alphorn with him. You could close your eyes and imagine you were in the alps. We asked about big horn sheep, and they told us where we could find them. They were right off the road, but it wasn't noisy.

Room Tip: We liked the upstairs room nearer the office.

Stayed at the property in September'2012 and was pleasantly suprised by the size of the rooms. Amenities were basic and as per standards of motels in North America.
Reception was helpful and friendly, ready to even offer us towels to carry to the hot springs.
The room even included a small kitchenette adding to the utility of the room.
Value for money being the highlight of the motel.

I have rated this as a simple stay in a motel which leaves you the feeling that you have saved some money but in a place that is very adequate, therefore VG for a motel. We were pleasantly greeted and welcomed by the owner/host. The room was very clean with a very homey European touch. The beds were very comfortable, the linens felt great and the comforter was just that..very "comforting" to allow a refreshing sleep. The bathroom was tight but very clean..what else do you need for one night. Behind the rooms is a connecting patio deck with BBQs, tables and chairs. Therefore, being tight in the rooms, allows you to visit on the patio deck for a night cap or two. Radium does not feature a lot of upscale hotels or motels, but this property was a nice overnight stay.
