I'm from NYC and eat in nice restaurants on a weekly basis. I took a two-week trip to the Pacific Northwest in search of the best food available. On one day of the trip I decided to take the scenic drive up to coast of Vancouver Island to Sooke---I wasn't expecting a great meal this day but was pleased to happen upon Point No Point. The service was pleasant and the view was charming but the food was out of this world! I had the seafood pasta--this is a dish I will be dreaming about for months---not too heavy and abundant with fresh seafood. It was also cheap--I believe I spent only $13 on my meal. This is a must go-to spot, if you find yourself in this corner of the world.
