“Wow! Spectacular food, beautiful setting, excellent service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2014

You will be delighted with a visit to this restaurant. I had the tomato salad, beef tenderloin, and homemade sorbet...I enjoyed every bite. I was at a corner table, windows on either side, binoculars provided on the table, and a beautiful view to take in while enjoying the great food. I was delighted with every aspect of the experience. The service was also perfect and just when I thought it couldn't get any better...it did. After the meal you are invited to take a walk down to the beach....the paths leading to the beach are these amazing walkways, surrounded by high hedges...with corridors branching off in various directions, all leading somewhere interesting. Make sure you allocate time to walk these pathways following your meal - words can't do justice to the beauty and uniqueness of the walk - you just have to experience it. It's probably a 20-25 minute drive from Sooke along West Coast Road...it's worth the drive from Victoria for the experience that awaits. Simply awesome!

“Perfect place to drink in the coastal views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2014 via mobile

Stopped for lunch on our way to Port Renfrew. What a find! Had the most perfect corner seat to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. Table even had binoculars in case there was something out there you needed to have a closer look at. Waitress was wonderful. The grilled salmon lunch special was fantastic. The vegetarian quesadilla was huge! So full of good things, and a large side salad. Wonderful experience. When we were done we were thrilled to be given the code to go down and enjoy the beach for a while. A perfect Friday afternoon!

“Always a delight for a delectable lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2014

As Vancouver Islanders, we have enjoyed Point No Point for many years, and always try to take our guests there for lunch. Our most recent visit this summer proved another memorable experience. Our world travelled company from London were mpressed. The menu is imaginative, the food fresh and delicious, the service friendly and attentive, and the view over the ocean glorious. If you are on southern Vancouver Island, drive out past Sooke to eat lunch here and enjoy an exhilarating short walk to the Point. Always a delight for a delectable lunch!

“Lovely cuisine with a killer view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2014

Exploring the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, my friend and I stopped to have lunch at the Point no Point Restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious seafood pasta, while my friend loved the quesadilla. The service was very helpful, unpretentious and prompt, and the cost, very reasonable.
The windswept ocean view was unbeatable, and I can imagine would be so at any time of the year. We watch the mystical fog roll in. Just lovely! After our meal, the hostess invited us to walk the private trail at the resort, and we hiked down to the water. The trail was well maintained and a very special treat; I'd go back in a heartbeat. Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner.

“We Went Twice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2014 via mobile

We had such a lovely glass of wine with appetizers (duck confit and salad) that we made a dinner reservation for the next night. The view is natural Vancouver Island at its best, ranging from a sparkling clear vista of Juan de Fuca Strait to mysteriously fogged in. At one point the fog went from white to golden to orange.

The heirloom tomato salad was a delight, with local tomatoes in great variety. We had the rib-eye served rare, and it was tender and delicious, with a refreshing olive and celery tapenade.

We thought we were too full to order dessert, but were seduced by the white chocolate tort with rhubarb sauce and raspberry/tarragon gelato.

Service was wonderful and relaxed, even though we had an early seating on a busy night.
