Don't blink or you are going to miss this little gem while on your travels to Port Renfew. Smallish restaurant with limited sitting and definitely not much to look at from the outside. But once you crossed the threshold into the restaurant, you enter a cozy reception/sitting area warmed by the glow of the fireplace. Grab a paper or good book and relax for a moment to set the tone. Then proceed to one of two dinning rooms. One with 5-6 tables, the other perhaps 8-9. The first thing that strikes you are the fantastic views of the Straight (clear day or not) and secondly, but not diminished by the views, the food. We stayed for lunch ($$) and were not disappointed. Fresh ingredients combined with subtle flavours culminated in an exceptual dining experience (and this was only lunch, wonder what dinner is like ?). Throw in friendly service and the afternoon was complete. We did look at the dinner menu ($$$) prior to leaving and I started to salivate. Perhaps the next time through.
