After a day on the beach at Botany Bay and Botanical Beach near Port Renfro Vancouver Island, we decided to head back to Victoria . On our way back, we stopped for dinner at the Point no Point resort just west of Sooke [ an hour or less from Victoria ]. Oh my gosh !! what a good decision that was. We arrived a little early for dinner, but we were greeted warmly and relaxed reading the menue. They have two separate dinning rooms. One has just four settings and the other eight. Both rooms overlook the Strait Of Juan de Fuca. Very intimate and cozy. The food is local and very fresh. I won't even make any recomendations because I'm sure everything on their menu is world class and is seasonal . But , with that said, for dessert, we had peanut butter bread pudding with home made banana toffee ice cream . Not a bad way to finish the day , sipping good wine while watching the sun set over the Olympic Mtns.
