We came upon this place quite by accident on a drive from Victoria.
We wandered in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the staff was very pleasant. As their dining room wasn't opening for dinner for another hour, the staff opened up a couple of their unoccupied rooms for us to look around in and told us to wander around wherever we wanted - if a door isn't locked, go on in and look around.
They started a fire in the wood fireplace and set us up with a bottle of wine until dinner.
The four course meal was magnificent as is the setting.
