We are at some of the best restaurants in Victoria during a week-long stay, and lunch here topped them all. Great chowder and apple-fennel soup. The private walking paths through the coastal forest, leading to views of the water and the Olympic range, were amazing.

The location is great. Just far enough from Victoria to be "away from it all" but not a long drive. Close to many beautiful beaches and hikes. We stayed at C cabin. The view down to the ocean was phenomenal.

Seeing that there wasn't a jetted tub as advertised was annoying. No coffee at these prices felt cheap. Then the smoke out from the open fire was just too much. I have lived with an open fireplace. It wasn't operator error. And I don't mind smelling like that when I go camping. Suitcases, wool coats need to be drycleaned. Now I read it's a problem they know about. Put on a longer chimney, put on a wind block!

I called the front desk later on to tell them about the smoke and that I'll have to do at least 4 pieces of drycleaning. Told them about the false advertising on their website. "Oh ok, we'll fix that." Oh thanks. The restaurant staff were great, work on the front desk, please!

We just returned from a disappointing (special birthday??) weekend at this resort. At checkout we were told (after we endured 2 nights in a smokehouse/cabin) Oh Yes Cabin A B C D and E all have problems with their fireplaces. We are now washing everything we can, going to have to pay dry cleaning bills on the rest and probably have to throw out our 3 favourite (cloth) suitcases...all this for $230. plus tax a night! The wonderful dining room and servers are now a faint memory as we deal with the stench.

Room Tip: If you bravely book, walk in and smell too much smoke in the unit..ask for a different one or leave!

We stayed one night at Point-no-Point in the Racoon Cabin and it was wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer. The 'rustic' cabin was absolutely lovely, with a fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable bed, and great bathroom with whirlpool tub. But the best part was the view from the very private deck. Fantastic! Also, there was a hotub on the deck, which was amazing to lounge in and take in the beautiful view. What a treat. We will certainly be back.

We stayed in cabin 13 and were very happy with our stay. The cabin had a beautiful view, fireplace, small kitchen and a pretty large deck with a hot tub. Everything was very clean and there was dry firewood ready for us. The area is very quiet and there is no cell service which we thought was nice. There are trails through the property and down to the beach where there is a beach picnic shelter. We definitely want to come back here sometime!
