From the cordial welcome to the next morning departure our experience was quite a pleasure.
Gary, the host, was very welcoming and pleasantly attentive toward our acclamation to the lovely Kingswood B & B as well as to Saint Andrews by the Sea.

The room in which we stayed was spacious and comfortable.
And the next morning breakfast was of quality in taste and quantity.

Our host was both professional and personable and engaged us in meaningful conversation.
We are grateful for the experience of lodging at Kingswood B & B.

We spent one night here and it was a welcome end to a long day of travel. The welcome from Gary, the host, was warm and friendly with excellent advice on where to eat and set the tone for the whole stay. The room was comfortable, large and very well appointed. Bed was a kingsize and was just perfect!!! Breakfast was hot and tasty. Perfect start to our vacation.

We stayed there only for one night. Gary, the owner is a wonderful host- he can tell a lot about nice St.Andrews , gives very good tips where you can have supper and he is a great cook, he served a very delicious glutenfree breakfast for me.The elegant house has a large - well heated !!!- living and dining room for the guests. The three guest- rooms ,each in another colour are large and comfortable with fine linens and all is very clean. It was definately the best b&b we had been on our trip through the maritimes. We would love to come again. Thank you for the warm hosting! St . Andrews is located lovely at Fundy Bay and is the best place to do whale watching

Room Tip: all 3 rooms are very good

Our host was very polite and professional and accommodating. Daily room refreshing was welcoming. Grounds were well kept and wildlife were free roaming. Breakfasts were creative and nutritious encompassing all food groups considering our host had dietary restrictions. His baking was excellent and well planned. The location was close to the main attractions within walking distance or a simple drive and made it easy to access all the beautiful venues of Saint Andrews. Gary has vast amount of knowledge of sight seeing and culinary taste of Saint Andrews. It was a pleasure being there. Trust that you will have a good time if you book your stay at the Kingswood.

Room Tip: Great room with a view of wildlife. Close to the harbour and all activities.

A couple of years back, my wife and I stayed at the Kingswood for a single night. We fell in love with the inn, and the owners (Gary and Cheryl). This year we came back, but could only stay 2 nights due to availability. It was a real treat to return, even if Cheryl was not here. Gary carried on by himself wonderfully. The inn continues to be perfect.... wonderful linens, breakfast, cleanliness, attention to the smallest detail. The Kingswood is the best

Room Tip: Both times we stayed, we have slept in the same room. It is perfect

My husband and I stayed at The Kingswood for 4 nights and enjoyed a warm reception from Gary, a comfortable, spacious room, delicious breakfasts with interesting guests and Al Bowlly on the HiFi, and a central location that allowed us to park our rental car loaded with kayaks and walk to the town center. The Kingswood is a lovely, historical house, typical for the town. Gary was hospitable and considerate - chilled our beer in a bucket in the tub - available at the ding of a bell (spanner in hand), and offered good advice with regards to places to eat (The Niger Reef Tea Room, Rossmount Inn). I highly-recommend the aforementioned as well as Honeybeans Café, a self-guided walking tour of the historical district, the lobster cakes at the The Lobster Bay Eatery, The Red Herring pub, a Drambuie in the bar of the Kennedy Inn and kayaking around Ministers Island. Watch the underwater road emerge as the tide recedes. We caught the annual Indulge Festival, a great way to mingle with townfolk, become familiar with the shops and try some great food. I would return to St. Andrews and stay at The Kingswood again, no question.

Room Tip: All three rooms are lovely. We stayed in the Kensington with a very comfortable king-sized bed.

We stayed two nights at the Kingswood - one on the way to PEI and the other on our return to Maine. We were greeted by a very cheerful Gary who showed us to our room. Rooms were spotless, spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. We wondered about breakfast as Gary was 'going it alone as Cheryl had to return to the UK' but he put on a first class breakfast both mornings which sufficed till evening. Gary was most attentive, helpful and we enjoyed some great conversations. Saint Andrew's is a charming little town with glorious views, nice shops and some very good restaurants. We will certainly return to the Kingswood and highly recommend it to our family, friends and fellow travellers. Anne & Ralph Norris,Maine
