“Clean, well priced”

The rooms are amazingly neat and clean, though a little small. Great rates, even during peak tourist season. Friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable.

Would recommend this motel to anyone traveling to St. Andrews.

This mid-50's motel is in good shape. The rooms are on the small size, but they are clean and the beds quite comfortable. Evenings were quiet. It is within walking distance of the village and its many restaurants. Pricing was reasonable even though we were still in season.

Very clean. Friendly and helpful owner. The motel is very close to the downtown area. Owner went out of her way to get info on whale watching tour. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We planned to stay one night but when we saw the room we immediately booked a second night.

We stayed here last year and were so delighted with this lovely older motel, that we just had to come back again. Our Queen room was reno'd, freshly painted and spotless. Sue (the owner) really knows how to make a room comfortable and clean. It was nicely appointed with a desk, small fridge and flat panel TV, and really comfy bed. Sue was most helpful about dining options, boat tours and even assisted with putting us in touch with a great mechanic to service our car for what turned out to be a small problem. The motel is a handy walk to downtown and the local Tims'. In fine weather there's a nice large common garden where we sat and enjoyed the fine summer weather. All of this and the price per nite is so reasonable. Thanks Sue; you've a really nice place.

Room Tip: All the rooms we've been in have been great!

Thank you so much to all the tripadvisor reviewers! We are used to travelling the U.S. in the chain hotels so this was a real change. This motel was so adorable and sooooo clean. Surprisingly the beds were very comfortable. The woman at the desk was pleasant and ready with a street map to direct us to nearby restaurants and attractions. We stayed one night and did the whale watching in the morning, then onto Halifax. My nine year old would have stayed longer.

We stayed at this motel twice and both times were very clean and comfortable and very close to town. But perhaps it is a bit expensive for a small hotel with no breakfast. But the staff were really helpful and friendly and if you go into the hut there is a clock with when the night is and the low tide

This was one of the cleanest motels or hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are well supplied with towels and soap. Everything was just perfect for our two night stay. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay a few more nights. Sue was the person we spoke to on the phone to book our room. She was also there to meet us upon arrival. She was very pleasant and gave us great information about the area.
Anyone looking for a nice, clean, quite place to stay at a good price, this is it.
