Our first tour happened to be on a foggy morning and Captain Robbie tried mightily to find whales that morning, with no success. The thrill of the search was great and the information provided by Johnny the marine biologist was very enlightening. They told us right away to get our passes stamped for a free trip. Our second trip in the evening four days later started with a quick sprint to an area where a whale had just been sighted. Our sighting of that Minke whale, the harbour seals and the curious porpoises made our change of travel well rewarded. The details provided by the two marine biologists, Johnny and Beth, of the route taken, history of the area through which we toured, together with the touch tank made the experience memorable for all on the trip.
