We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. From chef alex personally calling to confirm our reservation and go over the menu options, to the room decor and amazing food and service, this was an incredible experience. Each dish on the tasting menu was beautifully presented and well thought out. The lobster cakes were incredible, as were the double smoked bacon wrapped scallops, and the special dessert alex created for our anniversary was the perfect finishing touch. We would definately recommed Savour to anyone, and we were so happy this place was recommended to us!

We have indulged ourselves from Chez Panisse and French Laundry in California to L'Auberge du Pere Bise in Talloires, France. "Savour, the Restaurant" is their equal. Young chef Alex has a sensitivity to taste that is exceptional, pairing local produce with herbs from the garden to produce remarkably novel and delicious creations. We had the six course (actually ten) tasting menu paired with a surprisingly delicious and complementing Nova Scotia wine. The dinner started with an amuse bouche featuring perfectly seasoned chicken wings stuffed with local le Gamin cheese, caramelized onions, and a cucumber and heirloom tomato salad with a balsamic reduction. We were blown away by a tart filled with a molten Tomme de Champ Dore cheese over arugala greens and dried tomato followed by smoked salmon twirled into a roll and set on a potato panckake, served with a dill aioli and salmon roe. A carrot bisque with a float of creme fraiche carried a garlic chip soaked in milk for two weeks then dried to perfection. The combination came together magnificently. Mmmm. Seared sturgeon and prosciutto encased chicken were both phenomenal and quite original in their preparations. Desserts included a heavenly cake-like cheesecake with a strawberry reduction and a final orange chocolate truffle in an orange cream sauce with mint. Various palette cleansers, like a partridgeberry granita, bridged the courses into an incredible gustatory event. The wine selection, again highlighted by local, outstanding wines, was exemplary. We recommend that you try this delightful restaurant while Alex and Jenni are still relatively unknown and you can still get a table at this wonderful, homey restaurant. Bon apetit.

We had the pleasure of dining at this newly opened restaurant in early July. After eating a lot of "fried and steamed food" we were delighted when the owners of our B&B recommended Savour.
It is a small unpretentious house on the outside but contains a simple, artistic interior with well arranged space. We had the tasting menu which had an interesting variety of flavors and ingredients. The waitress and Eric's wife Jenny were both very friendly, attentive and informative. They helped us select a surprisingly good local wine from Nova Scotia . The creativity and attention to detail certainly show how Eric has won several awards already in his career. This young couple has an obvious passion for this venture. Probably the best in New Brunswick and much better than the Rossmount Inn.
