Description: We do n Pedal & Tap came out of a communal need. A need for social interaction without distraction. A need for quality food and drink sourced responsibly. An early mandate to eschew the standard big screen TVs, and encourage face to face conversations, has filled the space with music-drowning chatter from day one. No one misses the TVs. Pedal & Tap has been recognized for offering a unique dining experience. At one table you'll see a group of silver-haired foxes, another will be a group of ladies out for a hen party, and the rest of the tables might be filled with muddy mountain bikers, tree planters, young families and their children and high school kids with friends. No one feels out of place and everyone has a great time. Pedal has been recognized in numerous magazines, in 2013 it received the FOOD & BEVERAGE INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE award and the BUSINESS OF THE YEAR as offered by the Chamber of Commerce. In 2014 Pedal & Tap was featured on the FOOD NETWORK program YOU GOTTA EAT HERE.

Great food - the Mushy Fries were almost a full meal for two.

Fun atmosphere. Service was very attentive. It is nice to be able to sit outdoors without traffic noise and fumes.

Prices were higher than I'd expected, but easier to accept because the food quality, quantity, and service were above par.

On the negative side, the little wooden chairs are not comfortable, which encourages a person to drink up and move on rather than linger for one more brew. I think they'd realize a good payback on an investment in more comfortable seating as the pub wasn't full on a Thursday evening so there wasn't a line-up of folks waiting to take our place.

We visited Pedal and Tap this past weekend and had one of the best meals we could have hoped for in Kimberley! The place was packed, but the servers did a great job of bringing us drinks while we waited for a table and seated us the moment a free table opened. Absolutely delicious food! We dined with our friends and all four meals were so good, we ate to the point of pain to enjoy as much as possible. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in or near Kimberley!

We visited the Pedal and Tap recently. I had the Camburger and my wife had the Tuk Tuk (pulled pork). Both of us had the Mucky fries and we opened with the crab cakes. We also had the beer 'special' which was a grapefruit laced beer from Nelson BC. Overall, I would rank our experience as excellent. The service was awesome, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was great. Wish it would have been warmer so they could open the overhead doors. If u visit Kimberley - I would definitely recommend u try the PnT.

There was a lineup when we arrived and a lineup when we left.....entrees might be a dollar or two more but there are some unique choices and handy list of beer/wine choices to wash down the mac and cheese. I would suggest that $30 per person will cover dinner and a couple of drinks.

A must stop when in Kimberly. Stopped in for dinner with family and found it a great local hangout with great food. The decor, as the name implies, is a bicycle theme with some industrial style lighting thrown in. We had the Fish Tacos, which are an "Appy" but big enough to have as a meal. Very well made, and great flavour. Also had the "Tuk-Tuk", a Vietnamese-style pulled pork sandwich which was just fantastic. It's looks are deceiving, definitely filling and comes with fries and salad, By the way the menu comes on a clipboard!
