The Residence Inn at Kimberley Creek is a great place to stay. The property is spotless, the location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast is much better than usual.

We have recently returned from a skiing holiday at the Trickle Creek Residence in Kimberley. We were travelling in a party of 5 and stayed in a three room suite. The suite was situated slope side and had wonderfull views of the ski hill. The suite was well equiped and was kept spotlessly clean by the exremelely hard working housekeeping staff. The kitchen area was fully functional with a full sized oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a small dishwasher. Housekeeping ensured we never ran out of essentials, such as dishwashing powder. Check in staff were also very helpful. There is a usefull gas BBQ situated near the outdoor pool which can be used by guests, this is highly recommended, especially as if you leave a shopping list with reception before 9.00am, they will ensure your groceries are delivered to your suite before 4.00pm for a fee of just $5.00. This was a fantastic service. All areas of the hotel were clean, the outside pool and whirlpools were fantastic with views of the night skiing. The location of the hotel was superb, true ski in ski out with ski lockers situated just inside the hotel door. This holiday was tremendous value for money. The only word of caution being that apre ski in Kimberley is extremely limited, and as such may not suit everyone, however, if you want a quiet holiday with excellent skiing and quality accomodation right on the hill, this is a great place to stay. We named this the no problem hotel, as nothing seemed to be too much trouble to any of the staff,

This hotel was lovely.

If you are staying here you will need a car as it is quite a way from the centre of Kimberley

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were amazing. You got your own studio flat with gas fire and a balcony.

The hotel was at the base of a mountain with the ski lift right outiside the backdoor. We were there in the autumn but for the ski season its the perfect place.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

The free breakfast was more than adequate. We even got to make our own waffles. One bad point is the amount of waste there was from having to use plastic plates and bowls. Think of the environment.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was a branch of Kelseys which serves your regular kind of food - Burgers, steaks etc. We ate there and found it very good value for money.

This hotel is a beautiful. Everthing is clean and polished. We were booked for two nights and the room was great, but the bed was extremely hard. After advising the front desk, we were upgraded for the next night which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the breakfast room and had most everything you could want. We would agree with other reviewers, that there is not much to do in Kimberley unless you golf in the summer. We did take a day trip to Fort Steele which was worth the drive. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Great hotel, huge and just what you would expect from a marriot hotel. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite on the top floor. The room was very clean, very well maintained and the staff were very welcoming, helpful and courteous at all times. The hotel is right on the slopes, with ski storage. There was a restaurant on the ground floor which we ate in most night's. The food was very good, also good for drinks after a days ski. The only down side is Kimberley itself, it is an very small, nothing kind of town promoted to be something that it's not. Overall a great location for family ski-ing. Oh and the breakfast is fantasic.

Recently stayed at this hotel with a conference group. Found the service indifferent, in both the hotel & the restaurant, except for the hotel's breakfast staff. Breakfast was excellent though, & overall, the food was good.
Cannot imagine how they do cope with crowds of skiers. This must be a very slow time of year for this hotel---yet they seemed unconcerned about us. One of our party was on crutches & the hotel was aware of this before we came. Our room wasn't ready & it was far from the elevator (& away from the view). There was a 'water advisory' & staff were obviously reluctant to hand out enough bottles of water for our party.
This is not the only hotel in Kimberley. I doubt I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Residence Inn last September and decided to try it out during ski season. We were extremely pleased, again, with the accomodations, free buffet breakfast, hotel amenities and cleanliness, pleasant and helpful staff and ski in/out access. We will be going back again.
