We had a great time the front staff were helpful in finding places for us to visit. The rooms were well equipted and spacious. The golf course is 2 min drive away has great nine and dine specials What a great golf course. We would stay here again anytime highly recommended

Room Tip: Get a room looking out at the ski hill

Let me first say that I would absolutely stay here again. But I felt a bit oversold and underwhelmed when we arrived. We had a one bedroom suite with a balcony looking out onto the ski hill. The room felt private and cozy, and had lots of amenities for us ... extra sink/vanity in bedroom, full kitchen (although didn't use so can't even say how well equipped it was), living room, gym, pool, etc.

Where I felt underwhelmed was in the quality and service. The front desk staff were friendly but didn't give you that feeling of being real happy to serve you. The room was quite dated...for example, very old and not comfy sofa. The cleaning service was a bit basic...little bits of garbage we had dropped on floor were not picked up, empty roll of toilet paper not replaced, empty kleenex not replaced, etc.

The other thing I found a bit annoying was in the bedroom. They stuffed so much furniture in there that I had to squeeze between the bed and the dresser/tv to get to the far side of the room. I'm a pretty small person and this was a hassle for me so for anyone more than 5'4 and 130lbs...you be the judge. The TV in the bedroom was also very old (CRT) which I personally think for the price of Trickle Creek, you should only be seeing flat screen at this stage in the game.

Overall...acceptable and would stay again. But would not recommend it as anything other than a basic hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the mountain are quieter...at least in summer.

The receptionist was not very friendly. She told us the lodge would be booked and that we could not get a different room with a balcony. We asked her if we could check the day after and she told us, that there would be no room available. Even though we met a couple that left that day with the kind of room we were looking for.

Online you get the impression that all rooms come with internet. BUT. Only cable connection. For WIFI you have to pay 10$ a day.

The pool was dirty and green. They cleaned it a day later. The bugs, leaves, dirt and hair was gone but the color was still green.

There is absolutely nothing to do in the resort except golfing. The gondola does not work in the summer. The town is a 30 min walk down the hill. You can not enjoy the pool (it is so small that you can not swim) it is just for dipping not for swimming.

You can just hope for good weather to go to the lake. The town is DEAD. Nothing but empty streets. Most Stores are closed or for sale. The GERMAN Restaurants serve food that is not even close to what they serve in Germany. But they tried.
Over all a resort should this one not be called. Panorama Mountain Village is nicer and you get more bang for the buck.

We had a long journey and upon arrival was told that we could not check in (it was already after 3PM) and could we come back in 1 hour. We were tired after a long drive, and it was very very hot. We decided to go down to the Platz to get some water, etc. After an hour we can back and the room was still not ready. In fact it was not ready until almost 6PM. This was totally unacceptable. A lot of the staff did not show up for work and they were short handed. The poor girl at the front desk was distraught and it was hard to be upset with her. She tried to be as helpful as she could (Thank you Aundrea). It was disappointing to arrive and not have our room ready but they did comp us dinner at Montana's that night to make up for it. The place is beautiful, the rooms are great, with a fully stocked kitchen. The bed was wonderful. The only downside other than not having access to the room right away is the carpet. It is really old and stained and needs to be replaced.

Beautiful getaway, right on the mountain

excellent room with nice balcony & view

nice pool & 2 hot tubs

excellent food at Montanas

Nice kitchen facility with full accessories to use for cooking breakfast etc.

Room Tip: If booking for 2 example Mom & yourself book double room otherwise you will end up with 2 twin beds, mom didn"t have a problem however if you toss & turn a bed bigger that twin would of been nice
