My husband and I arrived in town and were looking for a place to eat and saw Zats listed in the Best Western binder in our room. We showed up in the late evening and the heat had abated and we decided to sit outside as it was just a lovely temperature with a slight breeze.
The courtyard isn't fancy, but is sufficient and spacious.
Our server, Devon, was wonderful from beginning to end. Polite, gracious, and thorough.
We had mussels in a tomato sauce (mild). It was very nice, but not over the top.
The ceasar salad was generous and creamy.
The Pelee Island wine was nice and didn't interfere with the tastes of our meal.
The eggplant parmesan was a bit bland and could use more seasoning but was okay.
The chicken parmesan was very moist and tender and I enjoyed it very much, but again the tomato sauce could use more seasoning.
All the hot food arrived piping hot and the service was not too slow, and we had an adequate break between courses.
The menu is not extensive but there are a lot of pasta choices.
