What really pissed us of about this place is the fact that this motel represents itself as an auberge on their website. The picture you see of the building on their site is not the hotel/auberge but of the adjoining restaurant which incidentally was not opened when we stayed there in mid June.
I hate motels, I loathe their designs and the fact that there is no restaurant or room service.
However we stayed in one of their renovated rooms and I must say even though the decoration was non existent, the bed was quite comfortable and the view, right on the Rocher Pece was exceptional.
If you don't mind motels, go there and ask for a renovated room. If you prefer staying in a hotel with services, there are two nice looking ones in Perce, try one of them.

Room Tip: Stay away from the two stories suites, they are awfull, rooms in basement and a dingy looking salon above, not worth it.

We stayed at the Motel for 3 nights this summer. The location is excetional and the service is excellent. We chose the package that included breakfast and a whale watching trip and it was well worth it. I highly reccommend it and we will definitely return next time we visit Perce.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the rock.

This motel is situated right in the middle of Perce and right next to the gulf. Now, not all rooms have direct view of the rock, but on the balcony, you do have a view of the gulf. Restaurant is in a seperte building and our meal for supper took approximately 1 hour to be served, but we started a conversation with ther guests and time passed. The wait was worth it, as the meal was exceptional. Our room inluded breakfast, but not any breakfast. Our plate contained almst everything on the menu and had difficulty eating it all, as everything was delicious. Rooms are average, with a little upkeep needed, but are very comfortable.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Trois Soeurs. They were a bit flexible on the rate since we were on a tight budget. The room was extremely clean with nice amenities. The parking lot was paved with a direct view of Perce Rock. Unfortunately it rains a lot in Perce and after 2 days of rain we moved on without ever taking the shuttle to Bonaventure Island. But, there's lots to see and do in Perce!
Staff were friendly- there's even a coin op laundry on site which was helpful after 2 days of rain.
A note for birders- this village is a birders paradise. Famous for the gannets, there are also Eiders, Scoters, Guillemots, etc!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Rock! There is also a nice walkway to the beach where you can beachcomb and see seaducks (Eiders, Scoters).
