Featuring the longest decks in the region, The Springer Theatre is an intimate air conditioned vintage "canoe club" - and seats 360 with proscenium style seating. The Firehall Theatre is a heritage building with flexible seating open to innovative staging.

Wonderful location on the St Lawrence River. Wonderful site with gracious staff and excellent plays. Gem of the islands.

“Great place, great venue, wonderful shows”

love attending the Playhouse over the years. Great atmosphere right on the river in a beautiful heritage building. Wonderful shows in an up close intimate setting. If you are visiting during the months it is open....MUST see a play here!

“Beautiful view , great atmosphere , great show.”

My Wife , daughter, and myself watched Spelling Bee , We have been here many times before for other plays , we love the area , very friendly and nice people , and the actual theater overlooking the water is very peaceful. Staff is very friendly .Would definitely recommend it for a weekend.

“Good play”

We saw Salt Water Moon at the Thousand Island Playhouse and t was a very good play. I enjoyed it very much.

“Cozy theatre”

Nice small theatre with interesting plays, a nice treat in the off season when there is not that much to do in Gananoque.
