We haven't seen a bad play there yet! The variety of dramatic offerings are terrific, and the theatre, in an old canoe club, is just delightful. You can arrive on foot, by car or by boat! The drinks and snacks are scrumptious as well and the atmosphere is simply happy. Arrive early for a drink and stroll the dock or veranda beside the river. The view of many islands is amazing.

We are family with two children visiting the playhouse. We planned to buy the tickets for the show. When we stepped in, the staff is on the phone. We waited for five minutes but she is still on the phone and did not talk to us. I can hear she was talking to her friend about leisure things. What a rude staff!!! I will never go to there.

Here at the Thousand Islands Playhouse, we strive for excellent customer service during your entire visit- starting with the Box Office staff when you book your tickets, to parking attendants when you arrive, and also our front of house staff when you enter and exit the theatre.

Our season has been selling very quickly, which has resulted in our Box Office staff being very busy on the phones and with customers at the counter. Our staff often talks to guests about the local community, attractions and other events happening during their stay in Gananoque. Sometimes this results in a wait time that we are working to make shorter. However, we do not allow our staff to discuss personal matters and will be looking into this situation that you have brought up.

We hope that you and your family will return to the Thousand Islands Playhouse during your next visit to Gananoque.

We enjoy it here so much that we became patron members this year. All the performances are well-rehearsed and professionally performed. The staff are always helpful and very friendly. The variety of performances makes you sorry to see the season come to a close. Very affordable too!
