Such a beautiful location, and the cottage was immaculate!
Spotless and very clean.
Spacious cottage, great swimming from the dock, and a wonderful fire pit for summer nights.
We had such a wonderful stay, I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to escape the city.

its one of very beutiful place though may not be known that much out side canada. there are small 1000 islands 3 hrs drive from toronto at gananoque or cruz depart from kingston. 3 hrs or 5 hrs cruz or 1 hr is also available. 3 hours is must if you really wish to enjoy(its small boat when we say cruz) not steamer.if you like nature you would love it.
This year, we rented a house with 5 bedfooms on a private island. Loved it with my boyfrient, a couple of friend and a friend with 2 children 10 and 12 and our 2 Westie dogs.
The 1000 Islands Region is an area of natural beauty that must be seen. We try to visit at least one a year, and have been doing so since the late 60's.
A boat tour is the only true way to enjoy the 1000 islands. Many tours are available.
I drove from Toronto to Ottawa on the 401 Highway and took a detour to use the 1000 island Parkway. I have done numerous times in the past and enjoyed not only the view of the Saint Lawrence river in that area. but all those small historic towns on the way. When you go through these small town and then through Kingston you can live part of the Canadian History.
I was lucky enough in my life to work on the historic towers of Kingston in the past and have always enjoyed the feeling I have had when driving through that gorgeous historic area.
It is unfortunate that very little advertising is done about it here in the United States.
