We have a Family Reunion at the Inn in June 2011, what a wonderful place. We were 107 people using 1/2 of the hotel rooms, everyone was impressed by the service, wonderful meals, swimming pool area, easy living atmosphere, space for the youngsters to run around. Close to attrations, ferry rides, shops, etc. Great ambiance. The family from 90 years old to 6 weeks old felt comforable, the staff was so congenial to our every wish. Impressive. Thanks to the staff, we will see u again soon.

i called tonihgt to book and im pretty sure i got the same lady as mentioned in an earlier post... she was very rude in a hurry to get off the phone.. i was afraid to take a breath from talking or even a slight pause bc i felt she would hang up on me... i have a free reservation in a couple days and im scared i really hope she off or not menstruating when i get there, its crazy how she speaks to people i hope she realizes shes going to scare her buisness away. well she probably doesnt care. anyway i hope my husband and i have a good weekend and do not run in to this lady.

To be kind, I'll just say this hotel is 'unique', certainly not your standard Ramada,
Our room was very dated and had a musty smell.
We stayed for 3 nights but only because the room was prepaid, non-refundable via Expedia.
On the plus side the hotel is well located, our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
We appreciated the refrigerator in our room, free parking and free wi-fi. The limited choice hot breakfast (scrambled eggs) was good and service friendly.

Room Tip: We were told that their 'updated' rooms are the ones near the swimming pool.

In response to the " musty smelling rooms" comment.
The ceilings in all of our rooms and main building are British Columbia cedar wood.
Some guests mistake the smell of cedar for a musty smell.

Also, we are " unique" in that we are located in a tourist town and we close the end of October and reopen the middle of April every year. All of our rooms are ground level with leisure chairs in front of each room . We also have an 85' outdoor heated pool, located in a park like setting. These features are appealing to many of our guests.

Since June we have purchased large screen televisions and we have plans for other upgrades.

Thank you for your feedback.

We returned for another weekend and stayed two nights based on an excellent one night stay last spring. Again we travelled with several members of our Harley Owners Group, The staff did a great job of booking in a large group with no issues and very quick service.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was sparkling clean. We enjoyed a breakfast both days and found it was quick and fresh. Thanks for a great stay we will be back.

This hotel does a great job and it is a pleasure to stay in such a hotel. Thanks for making us welcome.

Room Tip: The king bed was very comfortable and we made good use of the pool . I like this Inn.

We were pleased with the overall service and accomodations at this establishment. The rooms were very well priced and it served our basic travel requirements. This is an older furnished establishment in the town of Gananoque. The rooms and bedding were found to be very clean and comfortable! The price of the room included a free breakfast meal for both of us. The dinning room and gift shop offered a pleasant bright environment! The collector pieces mounted on the wall were very interesting and made for great conversation. We appreciated the time that Kate made for us and the personalized attention that we received!

My 5 girlfriends and I stayed at the Ramada Provincial Inn (three rooms) for two nights in May 2012. John at the front desk was very helpful and recommended two excellent restaurants. No trouble switching one of the rooms to two double beds from the kingsize that Hotwire had booked. The rooms were clean and the water pressure in the shower was good. It was nice to have a fridge. Our stay included breakfast and it was good and the serving staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Pam. It was a wonderfully relaxing stay and a good base for setting out to shop, or cruise the 1000 Islands or sight see.

I stayed at the Ramada Provincial Inn in Gananoque, Ontario on May 5th this year. It was a fantastic experience from the moment we entered the motel. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by very pleasant front desk staff who were top notch, John at the desk was extremely helpful with guiding us to an excellent restaurant for dinner and was eager to please we were offered ice and directions without even having to ask. We were given excellent off season rates that included a full hot breakfast the next morning ( which was also excellent ). We stayed in room 508. The room was very charming with a cedar ceiling and king sized bed, it was clean and well appointed. The property was beautiful to walk around, very park like with nice chairs out front. The motel also has an incredible gift shop. We will definitely be back!
