Good basic hotel, clean, nothing that stands out. Basic breakfast. Good price, good for one night. More like motel, without corridors, outside access to rooms. But, I would still recommend. Conveniently located and quiet

First, if you need indoor hallways - I,.e. enclosed, without your door exiting to the outside, then this is NOT the place for you. Also, if you have mobility issues, especially in winter, do insist on downstairs room... tile type steps can be slippery and no elevators to the second floor...remember, stairs are also outside although covered.

Breakfast was a 2 out of 5 ...lousy juice, terrible coffee, greasy sausage patties but eggs...ok I guess...also one of those make your own waffle machines...so, you won't go hungry but very disappointing.
Now for the good part - the main reason you book a room is for a comfortable clean room...and this place delivers. Obviously it has been renovated, nice furnishings, linens, bathroom fixtures... this place is very very nice. Beds were a little hard for my liking but not crazy hard. Nice big TV with good reception, sitting chair, fridge in room.
Given the price of this place, the value is excellent...of course free wifi is nice but almost expected now except for old motel units and high priced hotels that want to gouge their guests even more.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place for a great place to spend the night at great value...but acknowledge the limitations noted.
BTW, friendly front desk staff and were accommodating in a somewhat later check out.

Room Tip: If mobility issues or big luggage, insist on a first floor room. Stairs tricky- outside stairs.

I stayed here while visiting Gananoque and found it to be a comfortable room in a well-maintained hotel. My friends also enjoyed their rooms, and we were almost the only ones staying here. I imagine that it could get a little crowded and busy during the summer months, but we were almost the only occupants during December. Service was fine, and we enjoyed the place, although did not hang around it much during the days. Clean, comfortable, and inexpensive....it is a good deal.

Very good value for the price. Stopped here in the off season. The co-located restaurant, the Wheel and Anchor, is closed on Mondays during the off season. The very friendly and helpful desk agent offered us $20 in nearby casino slot coupons if we wanted to have dinner there. Fortunately we won $50 and enjoyed the dinner.

This hotel comprises several buildings around a large central parking area. Hotel room was clean and comfortable and good value at this time. A good option if you are in the area and looking for good value accommodation.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the property.
