This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Magog. You were always in for a surprise when ordering. The chef and co-owner was not just cooking good food but also inspired food.
Due to a fall out with his partner (who owns the building), the kitchen now has a new staff and the menu has been revamped.
The food is still quite good but it is a very standard menu of french cuisine. Really nothing special, nothing impressive. So down to 4 dots.

Great little Restaurant in Magog, Quebec on the main street. The food is very good French Cuisine reasonable priced. The waiters are friendly and good with information about different things on the menu. We would certainly return the next time we are in Magog.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was a lovely choice. The weather was good and we opted to sit outside, which was very pleasant (and very accessible for anyone with mobility issues.)
We started off with a vodka martini, which is my husband's favorite and a wine suggested for me by our waiter. He was a pleasant young man who was comfortable in English or French and a great help throughout the evening.
DH had the squash bisque and I the salad-both excellent-and nicely sized servings, not too much or too little.
This place specializes in taking comfort foods like Mac & Cheese, Lobster rolls or Boudin (a blood pudding) and giving them a gourmet twist. My husband chose one of the more conventional dishes on offer--scallops, while I went for the Boudin. Both were delicious and accompanied by beautifully prepared side veggies. We finished with carrot cake and a key lime tartlet. Again, both were excellent. Everything we got or saw being served to others was beautifully garnished and decorated.
The service was unhurried but efficient. And, the whole deal was under $100 CDN--including tip.
On a busier night (we were there on a Thursday) the noise from the street might be a bit much.
Other than that, can't find any negatives.

We were a group of ladies celebrating birthdays & wanted a special place for lunch & not too pricey. We were pleasantly surprised to say nothing of delighted with the atmosphere, comfort, the food delicious & artfully presented. The service excellent & the waitresses spoke to us in English without hesitation even though we could speak French... What a delight it was to find such a wonderful place not far from home.
