Stayed here end of Feb

The hotel is pretty on the outside.
We had a "DEALFIND" coupon for one night stay/ski. Our room was aweful. There was a smell of dirty feet. As though the carpets had never been cleaned. We were put in an adjoining room beside a screaming baby. Luckly we were able to change
The hotel decor was similar to something out of the Shining. I was waiting for 2 little girls to come out of the elevators!
Our 2nd room was better, but it still had a bit of an odour.

Didn't get a chance to skate on the pond, although it looked lovely.
The breakfast buffet was nothing special. Very resort style atmosphere.

The hotel is very geared towards family. Not ideal for a romantic getaway. Needs a major facelift inside
Will not go back or encourage others to visit

We (2 adults + 2 teen girls) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid-February, which is a long weekend in Ontario (Family Day). The purpose of our trip was (yep, exactly!...) to enjoy family being together, winter sports.
So, this place is located in a beautiful area of East Laurentians, just 20 mins before you enter Mt. Tremblant area. Inside, the hotel features a country-style interior, clean inside, although not new. We stayed in a hotel-section room with 2 beds. The room was small, it could have been fine for 2+1, but quite tight in our case. It looked much larger on the hotel's website...Shower was old and the shower head looked like from a dollar store, the lock to the room's bath wasn't working properly. Heating was very good - quiet and efficient.
One thing I must point that this hotel is built in sections, some sections are not disabled-friendly. If one has difficulties taking stairs or goind uphill, call the hotel in advance - caveat emptor!
Restaurant is good, breakfast is reasonably versatile, suitable to claim 4 stars in this area of hospitality. We had a dinner in the restaurant one evening and we were very pleased with service and quality of servings. Service in the bar was slow. When I got a word with a Manager, Mario, he took appropriate steps to resolve.
I sincerely can state that people who work there try to do their work well. By the way, all people speak/understand English, so one should not be concerned on this regard.
The hotel also has an activiry centre - visit hotel's website for descriptions. Swimpool has salted water, sauna is separate for men and women, within each change room. There is always a guard/ supervisor in the pool. The hotel has rentals for cross-country skiing, skating, snowshooing and other activities. Activities room for kids will keep you children busy, for some time-out for parents...
There are several regular grocery stores just 10 mins away from hotel, so no problem if one needs to buy stuff outside of the hotel.
Skating on a lake - just at the foots of the hotel. Surface is very good for natural ice; it is cleaned and maintained regularly. The is a flat trail on the lake for cross-country skiing. If one needs a challenge, there are multiple trails around the hotel
Alpine skiing - Ski Chantecler runs a shuttle to this hotel, every 30 mins, great service, extremely polite lady-driver. Slopes are great, natural snow coverage at -15C, just perfect!...Check the complex's working hours, as some slopes do not have night lighting.
Anyway, we didn't stay too much in a room during a day - there was too much to do for us! Will I be returning - not sure, we like to explore different places. But as a recommendation - it all depends what's the purpose of your trip. Staying inside - it's OK, if you are an active life-style person then, perhaps, YES.
And one more thing - ski lockers are available, but the entrance is from outside and if you in a hotel section, it may take up to 10 mins by the time you get your skiis. So, plan ahead and give yourself enough time, so you don't miss a shuttle!

Room Tip: Level 5 (level D, if I am correct) has exit half-way to stairs that go down the lake and also this l...

Hotel advertises itself as a 4 star hotel on Groupon and somethere else. 4* for this hotel is a scam, found out that it's 2.5 stars only, but most of 2 stars hotels are better than this one. Everything is very old and dirty. Didn't sleep well and got a back pain because of the deeply sagged mattress. In order to get to some rooms you should walk through the parking.

We went there for a romantic get away on valentine's day. We had coupons with Tuango so we had the skiing included with the stay... Thing is, check in is at 4:00pm and the slopes closed at 4:00 pm on thursday...?! So our plans for the night changed... :(

From outside, the hotel is beautiful but when you're inside, you really notice that they haven't renovated for quite a while, and while I say looked old, not in a good antique way, just in a "this is not a 4 star hotel kinda way"... The pool and spa are really basic, nothing fancy there. There are saunas but you have to be seperated from your boyfriend because there is one in each sexe's changing room, sooo kinda boring just sitting there appart...The room we had was clean but very basic with the 20 in box tv...and the bathroom was so small!!! One thing good is you can go iceskating on the lake right in front which is beautiful... And Ste-Adele itself is a beautifull place to visit. So overall, we still had a good time but would not pay to much to stay there.

We stayed here from 16 to 18 Feb 2013.

The grounds of the hotel are just beautiful, the hotel is situated on a hill overlooking a lake and it well integrated into the natural landscape and very picturesque.

The room - we stayed in a room that was really two rooms, each with a key lock. So you'd walk into a small foyer and be facing 2 locked doors. Our first door had 2 double beds and a full bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds were unfortunately very hard, almost like sleeping on the ground. On the up side, the pillows were nice and soft. The bathroom was clean but the hot water didn't seem to last quite long enough.

Our second locked door opened a nice large living room with 2 sofas, a tv, a fireplace, a kitchenette, and another full bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and they had an excellent stove to cook on. I give the hotel credit for keeping the unit well-stocked with supplies. This large room was a bit on the cold side but it was nice for relaxing at the end of the day and left a lot more space for everyone to spread out.

The breakfast buffet was decent, a little bit on the small side for a hotel of this type but it was included in our room rate so I can't complain too much. They did have great fresh fruits and a strong brew of coffee.

The ski shuttle bus was very handy, we used it for 2 days to get to the ski lifts.

Never made it to the pool or gym, also didn't use the restaurant since we had a kitchenette.

Overall, I would certainly go back! Can't beat the location and the price was right.

Paid $180 a night for a two room suite: one room with two double beds, the second room had a kitchen, sofa and a second sofa with pull out bed. This included two adult lift tickets per day and two food vouchers ($15 off a $75 meal). Oh and coupons for other rentals we never used.

The property is breathtaking, and with a little renovations and elbow grease this place could be a real gem. Of course now we get back to what this property is today:

The rooms are dated and not clean (the pool and spa are gross too). I was also a little shocked that they have envelopes, in more than one place in the room, with "cleaning lady" written on them, implying you "need" to leave money. I felt like leaving them a tip alright: a note pointing out the areas needing particular "cleaning" attention!

The layout of our room was terrible, with no coat closet in the room. They did have an armoire but its so large you couldn't fully open the doors (they hit the end of the bed). Finally we removed the doors from the hinges so we could hang up our clothes. The kitchennet area with sofa bed was nice and having a second 3 piece bath with stand up shower was great with kids. The mold in the corners of the shower was kind of gross however, oh and the jetted tub in the main bath screamed of hidden germs and bacteria.

The beds are rock hard and small, my husband and I opted to let the kids have each a double bed and we slept on the slightly softer sofas.

Now to the good parts: the service was good and the Sunday brunch buffet was probably one of the best buffets I've ever been to and I hate buffets. We went because our friends who were also staying at the hotel wanted to go.

The buffet included lobster, roast beef, waffles, pasta, eggs Benedict, sausage, baccon and a pile of other things, but the most impressive was the chocolate fountain with huge bowls of fruit and the spread of desserts. The raspberry tart I had was simply phenomenal. The price tag seemed steep at first but the quality of the food warranted the price, I think. Especially when you consider the cost of other restaurants in the area. (a family of 4 at the pizza place up the street cost us almost $100, and it was not $100 quality pizza IMO oh and that doesn't include beer because they don't sell any).

While the over all price seemed good at first, because it included the lift tickets, we have concluded this was a bad deal. We will definitely pay a little more next year and go to Tremblant.

This hotel offers good discounts for seniors. The rooms are alright if you consider that it was used a lot by skiers when they had their own slopes. The fitness center is partly run down: only one treadmill was functional but very noisy, no bike was fully operational and the stepper was completely gone. The pool, sauna and whirlpool were satisfying. The place was very clean and the site is beautiful summer and winter. At 80$ a night for seniors, can`t complain
