The Artist Cottage deserves to be listed on the Conde Nast AND Travel & Leisure #1 lists.
Alison's (the owner) attention to detail, design talent and the quality of everything in the cottage is more than remarkable.
The Artist Cottage is Presidential Suite standards (Kempinski hotels no less).
The stain class window alone in the cottage is breathtaking.
Located on gorgeous gardens, quiet peaceful location, heavenly village of Sibford Gower...I could just go on forever.
Thank you Alison and Mike for your genuine hospitality and for the privilege of staying in The Artist's Cottage.
One week just wasn't enough and we will be back for a MUCH longer stay.

Excellent in every way: carefully chosen mixture of old and new furniture; all the kitchen equipment that could be desired - and good quality too. Even the china was better than in any other rental. Good walking within minutes and we understand cycling too.
Sibford Gower is not among the prettiest of villages in the Cotswolds but well placed for many of the attractions. Good pubs around, including one directly opposite the house.
Lovely location, peaceful setting. Extremely comfortable and very well-equipped studio that was the perfect place to come home to after a day's exploring. Everything in the studio has been thoughtfully and tastefully put together. Handy pub across the road, with good food and beer. A fabulous break, thank you to Alison.
We stayed here for 3 nights and within an hour of being there we knew we would definitely return. The owner Alison was on hand to show us around and answer any questions on arrival, and offer us the use of their beautiful gardens and swimming pool (which is unheated). The studio is very spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. The kitchen is perfect, and if you like to cook like us, had everything you needed to do so effortlessly. The studio is furnished beautifully, and has so many interesting pieces of furniture and artwork, you can sit in any area and notice something that catches your eye. The outside area is equally as relaxing with sun loungers to use and garden furniture and we were blessed with some good weather so was ideal! The village is so peaceful, and the pub across the road The Wykham Arms very inviting, we had a great meal there and popped in for a drink every day. Its about a 25min drive away from Cotswolds famous villages of Burton on the Water and Stow on the Wold, and a 15min drive away from big supermarket. I couldn't fault this place at all, and will definitely return!
