“Ski, ski ski!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

Wonderful place to sky, slopes well maintained and brand new lifts! The atmosphere is fun!

But the accommodation was the worst!
These Aquarius building was terrible, I called for maintenance and they never show up!
But you spent all the time outside skiing so you can survive!
It seems that all the buildings are from the sixties and got stuck there.

“Overrated and overpriced”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012

Just spent three days skiing at Las Lenas and staying in Malargue. Thoroughly disappointed, especially after all the hype. Not a world-class ski resort in my mind, but instead an overpriced and overrated mountain, with horribly slow lifts, not enough trails, and little challenging terrain unless you go off-piste. Also very unwelcoming to day-trippers: there's no lodge for getting ready in the morning, or taking a break during the day, and they charge an outrageous amount for a locker. Unless you're an expert skier who plans to spend most of the time off-piste (provided there's enough snow for that to be possible), it's not worth it.

“Good in summer too!”

Nice place for take a break. If you like trekking there are lots of places to visit. The recommendation: Valle Hermoso (but take care if you go with your car - the way is not in good conditions)

“Excelent Hotel & Ski Resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2011

Piscis hotel is excellent for families and friends escapes. The employees' warmth is destacable. The meals included in the hotel fare are incredible. Ruth, Aldo and all the other members of the crew are very nice.Their service is fantastic and quality of food is amazing.
Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and massages at spa are also cool. Definitely I recommend Piscis as a great stay even thought the hotel construction is from 80s.

“Great area for out of bounds ... but only with good snow”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2010

We skied here early in the season and got about 12" while we were there. Because of the lack of snow, the extremely difficult skiing was not available. The snow was good tho for easy and middle intermediate. I was impressed with the progress family members made with the excellent ski school. Age 65+ - no charge for lift tickets (except the price of the electronic pass which is refundable). This is the best deal ever! We were with family and stayed in Tebes apartments which was convenient, basic, but quite comfortable and had secure heated lockers for skis and boots. Great views. Wind will shut down the lifts from time to time. Rental equipment was not in great shape but free waxing and sharpening at the repair shop helped. If you are poma nervous and want to come down an intermediate slope, be aware that you must take a poma from the top of the Marte lift to reach the easier way down (and the only one available in lighter snow conditions). It is actually easy and the view is fabulous. We booked with www.skisouthamerica.com and would recommend them highly.
