“Charming Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2014

Charming hotel in the heart of Le Baux. Great views to the mountain and the provence fields. The rooms are ok and the toilets as well. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was good too. The price of the room did not include breakfast and I think that for what you pay, breakfast should be included as it is in many hotels in the area. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Dear guests,

Thank you very much for having choosen the Mas d'Aigret and your kind comment. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Concerning the breakfast, we have chosen the option of the room in which breakfast is not included following several requests of our clients. We also propose the half-board possibility (breakfast and dinner with choice of menus), to be reserved in advance, an option which is very appreciated by our guests. Our wish is to try to give always our best and the best quality of service.Thank you for your comprehension.

Sunny regards and we hope to welcome you again if you travel through our nice Provence.

Expensive but very calm with enchanted atmosphere, making it worth the price. It's clean and has a retro atmosphere. The view in the morning from the rooms with terrace is breath taking.
Recommend !!
En plus it is a must to visit the château!
You also must try the restaurant of the hotel for dinner.
Limited menu but very tasty.

Breathtaking grounds and views. When we arrived we were welcomed and taken around by the owner who was very accommodating as was his wife and the entire staff. The location is excellent- a short walk to the village. I do think the rooms need some updating but our room was very clean.

Clean, quiet, charming. Just a short walk from Les Baux and a short drive to much else. The hosts are helpful, the food excellent, and tbe silence at night is wonderful. Free WiFi if you want, but its posdible to unplug and unwind. Don't miss the aqueduct about 10 minutes away on the road to Arles.

Awesome views from this hotel and this was our second trip to the hotel after three years. There is now a new pool area and boules pitch.

The lunch and dinner here is excellent quality and presentation. Unfortunately one evening our two starters were 40 mins late. They must have forgotten as it was smoked salmon and cold fois gras. Not much of an apology or offer of free drink etc.

They also need to give guests bigger towels and the bathrooms need updating. Also we paid for a room with a view of the valley but we didn't get this and when I complained and wanted to move room the hotel was full.

Room Tip: If getting the room with terrace and view make sure it is not the ground floor room nearest receptio...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pleasant accommodations with lovely view to the south. Easy access to the sights, including a short walk up to the old castle.
The patio restaurant was excellent. Very good value.

This is family owned hotel with atmosphere. Although the room was not quite what we expected(it looked in a need of updating), I do recomend this hotel for location, owners hospitability, nice garden and food. We went sightseeng every day and relaxed in peaceful hotel garden in the evening. The diner was served in the garden and was excelent. Hotel Is right beneth the ruins of Les Baux - a must see. Other sights in vicinity not to miss: st Remy - lovely village 10 km away. Carrieres de Lumieres - a cave where Van Gogh art is projected on the walls. It was great being in the cave with outside temperature around 40 degrees. Castelas olive estate - bought some great olive oil and hand and face lotions made out of olives.
