We stayed in LB halfway through a 2.5 week vacation in France. We ate at multiple Michelin starred restaurants and this was not only on par if not better than some, it was in some cases 1/3 of the price.

Great staff and the desserts are not to be missed. Did I mention the desserts? This guy is a pastry champion...........

We had lunch one day and then returned for dinner another day at this great restaurant. We had lunch there based on a recommendation from a worker at the fortress we had just visited. Be forewarned that the location is very close to the top of Les Baux meaning a pretty good climb from where you enter the city. It is worth the walk.

Max was our server both meals and he was a delight. With our meager French and his better than meager English, we had a good time.

The food and wine selections were ample enough to give most a good choice. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. Very good value for the price.

This surely is a find, even if you do have to climb all the way up to the high village of Les Baux de Provence to sample its magic. (There is a way up for cars.)
I think it was the colourful décor that first attracted me after the thirsty walk among the ancient stones – it was certainly eye-catching: rather like a Gauguin painting. Pinks, reds and cerises vied with each other for top spot and only then did I glance at the menu. Then I was hooked: tomato basil icecream, goats cheese delicacies, an award-winning dessert menu and a chef – Pierre Walter – who comes complete with the highest recommendations. This is Mediterranean food at its best and with a affordable price tag to boot. We lunched in our Alpilles retreat on the tenderest beef and the freshest catch of the day, and rounded off the meal with a strawberry and chocolate dessert that almost set the ancient bells ringing. Three cheers for this master chef in Les Baux.

Found refuge from the rain, and lunch was good. The starter of chèvre croustilliant with a tomato basil ice cream was very nice, and the dessert of 7 migniards was a great finish. I would recommend for those visiting les Baux.

This was a real find, the cafe was hip, the tunes were great and the food was devine. They really know what they are doing in the kitchen here. The food presentation was art on a plate, my husband had beef and I had the fish of the day, perfectly prepared, the desserts finished with a wow! A memorable lunch for what appeared to be a very touristy area. Nice wine list too.
