We had lunch at this traditional french bistro after visiting the gorgeous village and castle of Les Baux.
The views of the beautiful valley of Les Baux from the restaurant balcony are simply stunning and, if possible, you should ask for a table with a view.
Food here was simple, tasty and fresh at very fair prices.
My rotisserie chicken was tender and delicious. My wife's pasta dish was also simple but very well made. The kids meals were also very good!
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, food quality and service at this place and will return here on our next trip to Provence!

A lovely place right next to the entrance to the old village, and that was why we first stopped there, so that a less-able member of our party could sit in the shade with a drink or two while the rest of us explored. The staff let her do this, right up till lunchtime on a busy day, including assistance moving around where needed, until we came back and joined her for a meal. And a very nice meal it was too, after a bit of help explaining the menu. Interesting choices, not just the standard tourist fare and wonderful crisp salads. It was the staff, though, who really made it so good for us.

We ate here both nights we spent in Les Baux. I had the daily special on both days - the cod with aioli one day and an Italian salad the next. Both were nicely presented, very generous servings with lots of fresh vegetables/ salads. I enjoyed both very much. My husband had the chicken Caesar salad on both days and said it was among the best he had ever had. Our daughter really enjoyed her kids meal. Friendly service. Great dining for families.

We really enjoyed this restaurant near the entrance to historic city of Les Baux. It is part of a hotel and is on the right side of the street as you enter the city. We were there in early March so Les Baux wasn't buzzing with activity so we asked a couple of "locals" what they thought of the restaurant and they suggested it was a good value.

We started our meal with bread and pumpkin soup. We loved the pumpkin soup! It was very flavorful and unique. I had escargot and a casserole followed by steak which was very flavorful. My wife had fish with a creamy garlic sauce. In this case, the garlic sauce was a bit too much overpowering the fish particularly at the end of the dish.

Our children had the steak (what we call hamburgers in the US) children's meals. Their meals included a salad, sandwich, french fries and dessert. I tasted their sandwich, fries and dessert and all were quite good. The pricing for the kids' meals was very reasonable. It was also nice that the restaurant served our kids first which satisfied their hunger and gave us more time to savor our meal.

We were seated at a window table looking out over the scenic valley and at the other mountains nearby. It was a very nice setting.

The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, the experience was a good one for us and we would return if in Les Baux.
