Nice hotel and staff, not so great powdered eggs, and breakfast menu. Network connectivity was substandard for a business class hotel.

If I'm anywhere in the area I will drive out of my way to stay at this hotel. The rooms are fantastic, always clean and fresh, super comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast is one of the best continental breakfasts you'll find anywhere.

room was far better then any others in the area I found it pricey for Athabasca as I was paying Calgary downtown prices I guess its supply and demand
Other then the long black hair ball in my jacuzzi tub the room was a little cramped

The check in staff were extremely friendly and we had no issues with any part of our stay. Our room on the second floor had two queen beds and was super clean and very nicely furnished. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are ever visiting Athabasca. The included breakfast was lovely with the exception of the scrambled eggs. Thankfully there were a lot of other options to choose from!

Showed up to a wedding on the same weekend as a conference so we got the last room in town( i think,) and it was my husband, our son and daughter in law, the dog and me. and amazingly we found a room with two queen beds, and dogs allowed. The room was clean, smelled nice, was decorated nicely and accessible to the side door for the dog to come and go easily, without bothering others. The price was reasonable and the breakfast (included) was great too.

Room Tip: if you have pets and are looking for a great room in Athabasca, just as for the pet room on the side...

The rooms are nicely furnished, big comfy beds, big fridge and a microwave. There's a big screen TV in every room and a DVD player as well. The front desk has some good people but some of them are really unfriendly. There's breakfast inclusive, simple but not too bad - just don't get scrambled eggs, it's made of a not very good powder. Coffee selection is great though.
It's on the edge of town so there's nothing within walking distance apart from a Canadian Tyre and petrol station.

On the north side of town.
Room is very nice - high end furnishings; big fridge, microwave.
Not really near anything else so if you are tired is a pain to get something to eat. We ordered from the menu in the room. Great option - HUGE burgers that were really tasty.

Issue we had was the aircon in the room. Called 3 times over an hour+ period. By time somebody finally came, temp was 84 in the room. Took fellow less than couple minutes to fix. Due to the excessive time to get somebody to fix this, and because everytime I called the front desk said "they haven't come yet" is why I gave them a lousy rating on service.

Breakfast included was good.

Quite expensive though. $160/night.
