After you go to the middle of Drumheller country and start taking in the old mining leftovers, there is a bridge. This is not a destination for the family. Its something you do if you happen to be in the area, and Drum can be a fun place to explore. So put this on the list- but not the bucket list!

Just outside of Drumheller with useful information boards about its history and association with coal mining.

Not a bridge for the feint hearted at its sway can be unnerving.

Helped to put the demise of local coal mining into the overall context of fossil fuels.

The bridge is definitely neat to see.. its just too bad there is really nothing else to see there. You walk all the way across and there is just nothing..

Still, the bridge was interesting for a few minutes.

This used to be a great place to scare your younger sibling, but as with time, everything gets safer, but this is still a cool place to take kids
