Part of the loop through the scenic dinosaur trail near Drumheller. A perfect day trip from Calgary combined with the world class royal Tyrell Dinosaur Museum

“A Fun,Short Ride,Over The Red Deer River”
Reviewed August 18, 2011

A great chance to enjoy a short ride across the river. You can get out of your car while on the ferry if you like. The ferryman is friendly and doesn't mind a few questions. You can take the ferry while taking a tour on the dinosaur trail.

“The smallest river crossing you'll ever do!!!”
Reviewed June 23, 2007

Between North and South dinosaur Trail, North of Drumheller and next to the Horsethief Canyon, is the small Red Deer river that you have to cross in order to get from one side to another (Read: From North to South Dinosaur Trail).

Since these 2 trails are worth driving on them for the views, people travelling the Drumheller area shoud take the Bleriot Ferry in order to cross the river instead of taking more time and cross the river further north by the road.

The ride is free, and it takes about 5 minutes to get from one side to another. It's just so funny to cross such a small river on a such small Ferry!

Do it for fun.
