We were in Drumheller for a day and wanted to make sure we dropped by the hoodoos. We were near them so drove a bit more and took a look. They are nice but smaller and less numerous than I expected based on pics and publicity I had seen. The walkway around the small family of hoodoos was good for controlling access to them but gave it a bit of a staged feel.

Definitely worth a quick stop if you are in the area and have time but not a destination unto themselves unlike other hoodoos.

Great work f art! Loved the Hoodos, unexpected adventure. Hiking trails, cabled off areas to preserve the area. Every hoodoo is different shape and size. Feel like your on a different planet. Fre admission, parking, wear good shoes. THE place for a great picture. Must see if going west

We go to the hoodoos every time we are in drumheller! They are amazing! Yes they are slippery when wet, yes there is stairs and roped off areas, this is because half of the hoodoos that were there 20 years ago are gone, there are no man made trails because it is a naturalized area, however if you are an adventurist and the weather is dry you can go quite always around the area! Great place for pictures and to just soak in the brilliance of nature and the elements of the world.

I loved the look of Hoodoos and surrounding area but could not climb them as I had only flip flops. You need better shoes due to erosion.

It was a great experience for the family. Some hiking trails around the area would have made it a more pleasurable experience.
