I have not been to the hoodoos for many years and was very sad to see how much they have deteriorated. People used to climb all over the actual hoodoos, now they are restricted to climbing and walking everywhere else. It is a shame that a fence had to be built around the hoodoos, guess it was the only way to keep people off. This is a free activity, perhaps they should start charging and use the money to protect the area for the future generations to see.

We stopped by here with one of my nephews and he couldn't get enough of climbing around on the hoodoos. It was also interesting to climb to the top, good view, but a bit difficult to get back down due to it being pretty steep. If you want to go to the top make sure to bring shoes. It takes under an hour to explore but it's worth seeing!

lots of tourist for such little display. kind of interesting, with walkways - lots of kids crawling all over everything. I would have loved to see this place at night. would have been much better

It's such a surprising and anomalous landscape that delights in it's strangeness. It's small compared to others we have seen around the world, but for small children ( 6 & 7) it's a fun stop and they can stretch their legs by climbing the open areas. Watch out for rattlesnakes though and have the kids not poke their hands into crevasses.

Had a look as advised by the info centre guy. Free to see which is great, but don't expect too much. Utah has real life size hoodoos so these are pretty but very small. However I took photo's at the right angle so they look real impressive in my pics!
We had a laugh when we got there cos we were expecting something more....
