“The kids loved it.”

World's Largest Dinosaur

Our kids (ages 6-10) loved this huge dino! They spied it as we were driving around town and couldn't wait to get near. It's worth stopping to see. If you don't want to pay to walk up, you can still experience its size or climb around on its feet. $10 for a family does seem a little spendy for a quick walk up some stairs, but still kind of cool for a quick look and photo op out its big mouth. Kids loved it - probably would have been better if it wasn't the busy long weekend and we could have had more time to spend looking out at the top, instead of feeling rushed by the line up behind us. This attraction is right near the spray park and a short walk to Reptile World.

Thank you for taking the time to review our World's Largest DInosaur. We're always so happy to hear that the children really enjoy, not only the climb to her pearly whiltes, but the fossil castings and beautiful murals along the way. We do hope you had a great visit to Drumheller. Thank you!

As always we will pull over for any of the worlds largest but we were not about to pay $3 just to climb some stairs in the heat inside a dinosaur just to see out its mouth.

We're happy you came to see our World's Largest Dinosaur. We are sorry you didn't take a climb up her 106 steps, viewing fossil castings, murals and skeletons along the way. Please note that a portion of your admission does go towards non-profit organizations in Drumheller and it's surrounding areas and that we have also given back to the community over $540,000.00. We do hope you had a great visit while in Drumheller.

It's a little pricey when you consider that it costs $10/ family to climb up the stairs to a very small viewing area, but it is kinda neat. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not the activity for you.

It was fun and provided good photo ops both outside and inside the mouth with the teeth when you get to the top. The inside as you go up the stairs is interesting to look at. I always get a kick out of these "World's Biggest" attractions (the perogy in Glendon, AB, the Wawa Goose, the nickel in Sudbury), but rarely actually go in them. This was worth the $3.00 ($10 for a family) to me, especially now that I know it's non-profit and the money goes in to the community. I wish I had discovered the information brochure, which I only learned about by reading the "owner's comments" to other reviews. This information is also available on their website, and it is worth knowing before you go. It is also located at the information centre and a little gift shop. The young woman who gave me directions at the info centre was very friendly and helpful, as was the cashier when we bought tickets and some gift shop items. My husband and I enjoyed it. The children we observed just loved it, especially one little boy who couldn't wait to get to the top.
